I purchased my Graco Travel cot for £55 from a local independent nursery store. I was looking for a travel cot that would be suitable for use as a play pen too. I bought it about a year ago when my daughter was 6 months. I had just moved into a new flat and was trying to make it into a home for me and my daughter. She was just beginning to shuffle on her bottom and I needed somewhere to keep her safe and let her play while I got up with other jobs. ... ...jobs.
I chose the Graco travel cot as I wanted something light weight that I would be able to move around easily and I also needed one that I would be able to open and close with little trouble. The man in the shop demonstrated how to put the cot up and down a couple of times for me to show me how easy it was. I was very impressed so I handed over my £55 and took it home.
As I have no car the cot had to fold up small as I had to stick half of it ...

...and when she saw the Graco compact she decided that was the one, she loved that it was nice and bright and thought my son would enjoy playing in there as well as sleeping. We ordered it from Kiddicare but unfortunately they have stopped selling it. I have since seen it on Amazon, Halfords and Ebay though for roughly the same prices. ~*~*~FEATURES~*~*~
-Suitable from birth to around 3 years.
-It comes in a handy carry case, making it easy for travel. ... ...put it up in a couple of minutes on my first attempt. -The sides are mesh which is nice and soft for wriggly babies banging their heads, also comforting to parents being able to see through the sides to the baby. -The mattress base is quite thin and has a cardboard base, this doubles up as the boxing in which the travel cot folds up in.

Graco Travel Cot with Bassinet
With all the new nursery items you have on your list to buy it can be a bit of a nightmare trying to decide which would be the best to suit you, well here’s some helpful advice from me, forget Moses Baskets and wooden cribs, I found this to be all I needed for the first few months of my daughter’s new life. On our return from hospital my husband and mother in law had been busy getting all the new baby’s nursery items ... ...moved into a rented holiday cottage temporarily, as well as the birth of our new baby, life was a bit hectic!!
We took our daughter into each room and introduced her to all her new equipment & toys - this took a while as you can imagine! Come bedtime we gently placed her into her new bed and there she gently drifted off into sleep (well until her next feed was due anyway).
The bassinet feature worked really well as we could see here at eyelevel ...

...I first ordered a Graco Contair Travel Cot from Littlewoods Extra for £69.99 but when it arrived realised that it wouldn't work as it didn't fit through the doors. Oops. That was sent back sharpish and I spotted a Graco Travel Cot/Care Centre. It boasted to be 66cm wide when upright and we thought hurray as it would fit. It also comes with a basinette and a care centre which comprises of four different sized compartments that can be clipped into ... ...wipes and other paraphinalia that a baby needs.
The basinette is only half sized so it will not last very lng before she is too big to fit and the canopy is ok but it can make it very difficult to get her in and out. This can be unclipped though and pushed out of the way.
Also the basinette mattress is the playpen mattress which has been folded.
The care centre is excellent and I find that I have to clear it out often as it is so handy to put ...

I got this travel cot when my little one was born. My partners family are all in scotland , so we needed something to take up with us for the baby to sleep in.
We found it quite hard to find this cot. We searched every where, but it was either out of stock, or not sold at that store.
Mothercare had it in there cataloge, so we went along to our local store, only to find that they only sold it in their main stores, and the closest 1 is miles away.
... ...index, which has sadly now shut down.
When we got it home, we set out to put it together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The instructions ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
had me baffeled!! maybe I'm thick, or maybe my hormones were still playing up. But they were starting to really annoy me!!!
Putting all the right poles in the right places and plugging the wire in correctly wasn't easy. It was quite fiddley. But my boyfriend who was blessed with brains, managed to get it set up.

The Graco Travel Cot cost around £99 from Toy'R'Us and comes compete with Bassinet, changing unit and a bag for packing away. The travel cot is really easy to put together, although the instructions that it comes with make things more difficult than they actually are. The first attempt to put it together took me 3hours and now that I know how to do it it takes me less than 5 minutes. Constuction
The main part of the cot has collapsing ... ...until they click and lock into place. Once all four are done you will notice a red pull cord in the centre of the cot, this just needs pushing right down to the floor untill it too locks into place. Thats your cot! It has a mattress (when packed away surrounds the main part of the cot) that then pushes into the base of the cot. With the cot set up like this it can be used as a cot to sleep in for babies who can sit up unaided or as a fantastic playpen!

The Graco travel cot costs £39.99 from Argos (although Mothercare and other nursery shops sell it as well). It measures 102cm long x 73cm wide when assembled. It has a red, blue, yellow and green coloured metal frame with mesh net sides and a padded removable base which is in bright primary coloured checks (good for teaching older children their colours!) The base is a wipe clean surface.
There is a blue travel bag with it to keep ... ...However, it does weigh 8.1kg and I find it a bit to carry around so my husband usually ends up with that job!
It is very easy to put up and only takes a matter of minutes. You do have to remember to put up the opposite sides first though! It is as easy to put down as it is up, and the mattress goes round the collapsed frame and is held in place with velcro straps.

We bought this when my daughter was a week old and needed it for a travel down to wales to visit the in-laws with new baby so thought this would be great for changing and play time and sleeping.
This is Suitable from birth to around 3 years this is when they be more likely to say I am not going in that but we dont intend to use this that long was just for when she is getting around the house and under our feet.
Full size bassinet is a perfect crib ... ...too as bassinet mattress vibrates gently (on a timer) to soothe your baby to sleep, Nightlight and music centre on a timer too. As your baby grows, take out the bassinet and you have an easy to use travel cot as we said we bought this for when our daughter was 1 week old and used the bassinet once and did the job.
60 seconds or less to put up or take down. Its very easy once you know how and once you do it a few times and then it takes no time at ...

The Graco Travel Cots wasn't the cheapest but it was only £48.90 so it wasn't far of, it was bright and attractive and most of all very easy to unfold and fold back up. It comes with its own little travel bag (although it doesn't have wheels as some do and after a while of carrying it around it can become heavy).
With our new purchase we were off on holiday, well I say holiday and make it sound very glam, it was actually a week ... ...Edinburgh. After hours of travelling we reach our destination and I am starting to get a bit worried that Sam won't settle in a bed that he doesn't know, I unfold and make up his bed (which takes all of about 3 minutes) and get my little man in the bath, one last bottle and it is the moment of truth...........
Not only did he drift quickly (and quietly) off to the land of nod we actually got a lie in in the morning (well a little one anyway).

The Graco Travel Cot has become an invaluable accessory in my 1 year old daughter's nursery. It doubles as a play pen and cot. My wife and I originally purchased the cot based on our previous experience with Graco products and our need to have a portable cot. We already have a permanent cot with the two side rails that my daughter had been using.
Until two months ago, the Travel Cot had been doubling as a toy storage area in the nursery. Then, as ... ...we decided to take our Graco along as well. When we arrive, we found the travel company had provided the same Graco Travel Cot that we had. So, we decided to use her cot as a play pen in the villa and the cot that the travel company provided for her sleeping. This worked extremely well. We are now using the Graco travel cot as a play pen at home.
The only disadvantage of the cot is that it is a little heavy. I don't recommend carrying it long distances ...

...grandparent she sleeps in a Graco travel cot. I was really unsure if she would sleep, as the mattress doesn't look very comfortable, but she sleeps like an angel!
The cot sell for around £40, and can be bought from most nursery stockists. Shop around though prices vary! This cot is about £10/£20 cheaper than other travel cots, so I automatically presumed the manufacturer had skimped on the quailty or comfort.This, however, does not seem to be the ... ...until your child can escape)

The Graco travel cot is woefully overlooked in product testings, but the price was low enough for me to gamble on purchasing it.
To errect the travel cot, the sides merely need to be pulled up and snapped into place. My cot seemed to pull itself up the moment I removed it from the box. Once the base is pushed down and locked, the mattress is pushed down, and secured with velcro straps. I found it tricky to get the straps through ... ...week whilst I kept fiddling with it to desemble it. So if you do buy one to go on holiday, practice with it first.
The Graco travel cot comes in more attractive colours than that shown with the review, and looks quite smart. The cot is sturdy when up. ...

Ease of use is a main feature - pull a loop in the middle and slip the mesh sides up.Even I did it in 10 seconds! It fits into a travel bag with handle and can be checked in like that for plane travel. There's a colourful,wipeable mattress in orange, blue and turquoise squares and the sides are blue ...
