Advantages: Fast, Seaworthy, and Economical to run Disadvantages: No cuddy cabin to get out of the weather
The Grady White Sportsman 180 is a perfect inshore fish killing machine. I've had my 2005 Sportsman 180 since new and have had no complaints or problems in the 100 hours I have put on it. Living in San Diego, the boat is perfect for 3/4 day trips to the Coronado Islands, or further out to the 425 and other fishing spots. The boat is also easily trailered for trips down to Baja California. Lastly, adding trim tabs to the boat is like adding 2 feet ... ...Couple that with a 60 gallon fuel tank and you have a boat with a lot of range.
I am very glad I bought the Grady White over the other boats I was considering and would make the same decision if I had to do it again. ...
