Advantages: Good graphics and freedom to do whatever you want Disadvantages: No real car names.
Welcome to the 21st century; well perhaps not as you don’t see many people running down pedestrians and shooting gang members everyday but GTA 3 has all you want to create havoc.
Due to the big hit of GTA on the Playstation, (and some trouble in the papers for being too violent) it managed to be a great game, from the bird’s eye view to the gta 3 multiple views like 3rd person the gta series has changed the way gamers think.
Again like the GTA3 ... ...members like the mafia for example, stealing cars and simply plain killing people. There is actually a plot that develops and reasons why all these gangs are constantly trying to kill you. Also, the leaders of the gangs have different personalities and voices that are quite realistic and make the game more enjoyable to play.
Throughout the three Islands in Liberty City (the city in which you play the game) cars are needed to get around, this therefore ...

Grand Theft Auto 3, the third game in the series, which they tried to ban, is the first game in the crime series to be in full 3D. The main plot of the game is that you are a wannabe gangster making your way up the crime scene by doing jobs for gangsters that are much higher up the hierarchy than you. WHAT OPPOSITION DOES A GANGSTER HAVE? You don't get the whole City to yourself you know. Along with all the ordinary pedestrians and drivers, there are people who don't like you very much and who take great pleasure in trying to kill you whenever you go near them or in their territory. Advantages: Great fun, get to drive a tank :) and cool radio stations Disadvantages: Crap character, high system specs and gets very difficult
The original GTA was a huge hit on the playstation. Gamers loved it for its wanton violence, and the feeling of freedom gained from roaming around a living city complete with pedestrians, traffic and police. This was a game where you felt as though you could do whatever you wanted. If you wanted a car, you stole it. If you wanted to kill unarmed pedestrians, you could. If you felt like driving around slowly, stopping at red lights and obeying traffic ... ...its success was that it made the gamer feel as though they were in control, rather than following a set path.
Then came GTA II, which was not a bad game and yet never enjoyed the success of its predecessor. This was probably because it made few improvements on the first game, and introduced the gang respect system, which in practical terms meant lots of driving about, trying to earn enough respect to actually qualify for missions: a truly idiotic ...

...would have to be the Grand Theft Auto series from Rockstar. Not only does the series allow for car theft, rioting and violent killings, it encourages it also!
However this was far less effective in GTA1 and 2, purely everything everything was seen from above rather than in a 3rd person perspective due to the fully bird's eye camera view given with 2D rendering. After a jail break, both you and a partner are required to get into some street clothes and hit the town. Almost straight away the whole gangster theme begins, with job offerings and tasks a plenty. The job offerings are not required, infact you go about them in your own free will, but if you want to make any meaningful progress in the game your best choice is to complete them. The ...

...When the original GTA ( Grand Theft Auto ) came out I turned my nose up at it like a cat who has been used to being fed Kitekat being suddenly confronted with Kwik Saves own brand of cat food.
When the second incarnation ( okay that wasn’t meant either … in-car-nation … damn what’s happening to me today ) of GTA hit the shelves I did a great job of pretending that it didn’t exist even though my friends raved on and on and on about it.

When the third GTA game was released I pretended to be deaf so I couldn’t hear them go on about it and when that didn’t work I faked my own death ( you should have been there … it was a lovely funeral !! ).
Then a couple of months back I was sitting in my other room. A friend was crashing at mine and he had his PC with him. We chatted as he played GTA and during our conversation in which I had to explain my sudden, though not unexpected ...

...re-ignites the argument. The original Grand Theft Auto (GTA) was one such game, a top down (or birds eye view, if you prefer) of your character going around the city, performing missions for some top ranked gangsters and earning some cash into the bargain. It doesn’t sound too bad, but when the missions are stealing, killing and general mischief, all of a sudden Mr and Mrs Smith don’t want little Johnny playing on his PC or Playstation any longer. ... ...of Max Clifford, a publicist who managed to get tabloid coverage of the game, it’s doubtful whether anyone outside the gaming circle would really have noticed the game with high levels of violence and dubious moral fibre. I haven’t had so much trouble getting a game to run since I had my first PC, a state of the art DX2 66 (remember those?). But before I bemoan all the problems I’ve had I’d better start with a review of the game. If I don’t start with the good you simply won’t read passed the bad and the ugly.

The game view is not dissimilar to Tomb Raider (another game to add to the list above) where the camera is positioned just behind and above the main character. ...it is, my review of Grand Theft Auto 3.
This is the fourth game in the GTA series that began on the PC a few years back in the form od a 2D top down micro-machines style game, a format which was barely improved on in the first sequel and the add-on GTA London: 1969. This Second major sequel has finally made the move that fans of the original pleaded for: three dimensions!
