Advantages: graphics, lots of things to do, soundtrack, realism Disadvantages: gotta travel a lot as the save points and mission are far away, older game
Grand Theft Auto had been one of my favourite series ever since the first one was released. I had played GTA 3 a bit late, but played it for ages until I got Vice City the same year. The game had been improving all the time till GTA: San Andreas. I still prefer Vice City over San Andreas not only because it was the game which included lots of interesting places, but also because it was simpler and more stylish. Advantages: Great all-round game that's almost perfect. Disadvantages: It ends.
...GTA3 on the PC:
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a lesson in how to take a game which is already bordering on genius and improving it. If you enjoyed GTA3, then you will love Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Go and buy it now. No excuses.
For those who have not played GTA3 on the PC:
Vice City is a game played in the third person perspective (rather like Tomb Raider). In this game, you play an ex-convict called Tommy Vercetti (voiced by Ray Liotta) ... ...to Vice City (i.e. Miami) by his 'boss' to expand their operation down there. However, your very first drug deal is ambushed by persons unknown and only you, your lawyer and one of the other people with whom you were dealing manage to escape.
You're obviously annoyed at being taken in, your boss in Liberty City wants his money back and you're obviously on the make at the same time, so things are going to get mighty interesting in Vice City...

...other GTA’s is amazing.
Although Grand Theft Auto 3 changed the way you played (From birds eye to 3D views, bigger areas of play) Vice City made GTA3 look old.
Vice City is set in the 1980’s in a Miami setting (i.e. beaches, sea, women etc) and is split into two different islands.
As in GTA3 there are a lot of different ganglands, which still have the same setting of, if you annoy them, they will kill you.
Transportation has also changed slightly, ... ...shapes of them have changed, which adds the effect of the past time cars.
Each car has different driving capabilities, as before, for example, the sports cars are fast but hard to control. The acceleration varies between the sports cars to make this game more fun because you are always searching for the best sports cars to drive around with and to get away from the cops.
There are also new ways of transportation like using bikes and helicopters.

Advantages: Deliciously sociopathic, excellent in every way possible. Disadvantages: Some frame rate issues.
When the Grand Theft Auto series turned 3D in 2001, we were presented with not just a game, but a living breathing city complete with, traffic laden streets, several districts and criminals all in need of a useful handyman to do their bidding.

During 2001, Grand Theft Auto III exploded onto the scene, revolutionising peoples notions of what a game could be and stirring up tremendous amounts of controversy in the process. Now, Rockstar Games has delivered a successor to the wildly popular GTA III. The new game, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, while probably being too close in both gameplay and spirit to its predecessor to strike anyone as revolutionary or stir up as much controversy, is nonetheless ... ...many respects. While Grand Theft Auto III did have a story to tell, one of the games chief attractions for many was the sheer sense of freedom the game provided for the player. The game was set in a vast, diverse, crime-riddled town called Liberty City which felt like a living, breathing place in which you could go just about anywhere and do just about anything, completely ignoring, if you so desired, the games story and missions. With Vice City, ...

...If you have ever played Grand Thefta Auto III, then you will realise pretty much what this game is about. You are Tommy Vercetti, who has been in prison for a long stretch and has now been released, and sent back to Vice City, only this time, you are not a nobody, you are someone people know, and who people respect. In GTA3, you was no one, and you had to work your way up, that is not the case in Vice City.

Well expect to get shot at eventually, expect violence like no other in any computer games, expect police chases, either by cars, boats, helicopters, SWAT teams, the army and even tanks, you get chased by just about everything, depending on how many stars you have on the screen.
The stars appear the more things you do badly, so say like you run over 2-3 people in a car, and kill them, ...

My brother initially bought Vice City on the PS2 and I was quite impressed with the graphics. I knew that the PC version could only get better and prove to have better graphics.
