Advantages: Long lasting, distinctive scent, it's from Gucci! Disadvantages: Can get quite sickly if worn too often

I got given Gucci Rush a good few years ago for a birthday present. At first I was a bit disappointed - it didn't look very Gucci to me. The plastic, bright red casing, which was shaped a bit like a camera looked like something you would get from the discount perfume store. Not something you would really expect from such an established, distinguished and most of all, expensive brand!
The Packaging

Since we ... ...start. If you purchase Gucci Rush on its own (not in a gift pack, I mean) you will be given a disposable camera shaped red package. The outside cover of the perfume is a deeper, shiner red sheen with the 'Gucci Rush' logo down one side. Slide this off, and you will be presented with the perfume itself - a red box with the same logo down one side.
I suppose the good thing about the casing is that it's not easy to drop and break, saying that it is ...

Gucci describes the scent as intoxicating, addictive combination of florals and spices. A sensual burst unlike any other. It has notes Gardenia, Freesia, Jasmine, Vanilla, Patchouli.
I pretty much agree, it is addictive and intoxicating to myself and to others. I have recieved soooooo many compliments on this perfume from both sexes.
I think its the Jasmine that makes it really sensual.
Best of all i think its suited to ... ...lol. Other favourites cannot compete; Gucci envy me, tends to be favoured by my girl friends, its lovely, very powerful and flowery. Dior j'dore is subtle and sophisticated, liked more by guys and older -ish! women. The going price is around £27 for 30ml (natural spray).
On an ending note, does anyone else find the boots.com website abysmal???

Advantages: none Disadvantages: the whole product is a mistake
...choosing. I really think that Gucci Rush Eau De Toilette is over priced and it honestly resembles the Gucci II perfume. It seems that the Gucci II formula was just doused with a whole lot of alcohol.
Gucci Rush was given to me as a gift and I'm glad that I did not have to spend money on it. I've had it for two years and it simply does not want to evaporate into extinction. I more or less use it as an alternative to regular bathroom air freshener ... ...two bottles as presents. The odds that your friends or relatives make the mistake of purchasing this scent for you are not slim since House of Gucci is very established and consumers will always find it hard to believe that the fashion house can make mistakes.
