...enemy will fall.
Although Guild Wars is what they call a "grinding" game, most MPORGS are. Grinding means going out killing things to gain experience/money to progress. Please remember that this is one of the reasons why the game is cheap and has no monthly cost to keep it going. Bearing that in mind, I have mentioned before that you don't have to stick to the story, you can vary the game by doing other things. The makers of Guild Wars often update ... ...you are part of a guild you can take part in guild battle as well. The problem with this part is that you only have the skills you have unlocked so far. Skills are very important in these types of battles and you will find some people take it really really serious, almost as if it is real life or death situation. My usual response is "get a life, its a game".

Graphics.
The graphics on Guild Wars are something to be commended for the year came out this game has some very good graphics. (With the new factions and nightfall expansion sets, guild wars graphics are upgraded to a level seen in todays new releases.) This is definitely something the creators of guild wars have put a lot of thought and effort into. 9/10

The music for guild wars is very adequate for a MMORPG but like all MMORPG you do ... ...the characters. 7/10
Classes.
Guild wars has many classes ranging from Warrior to Monk each class has its advantages over each over. One of the best quality's of guild wars is the abilities to pick two classes such as a Monk/Necromancer now this character would be able to heal him/herself and deal out some nice damage. You can pick any class as your primary class and any other class then your primary class for secondary class. The total number ...

...didn't start with the original Guild Wars; I started on the second campaign, Factions.
I have to admit (after starting a character on each of the campaigns) the original game was probably the slowest starting of the 3. You begin in Ascalon in the past, learning new skills, meeting new friends (that you add to a friends list) and working your way through to get past the Char Invasion, where everything changes - this is known in the game as 'The Searing' ... ...you don't get access to Guild halls or storage, meaning you have limitations of what you can carry. Most pre searing beginners can pick up high end items (black and white dyes being a huge earner) but rarely understand the value until they leave searing, selling the items for lower value at merchants than waiting to sell to specialized merchants such as dye traders, rune merchants etc. A small character called Gwen gets to follow you in pre-searing ...

...MMORPG craze swept the nation, Guild Wars stood out to gamers not as the best game but as the cheapest. At the time it was one of the only MMORPGs that didn't charge on a monthly basis. Guild Wars allows you to combine professions, allowing you to use another skill list, the only catch is you wont inherit the bonuses of that profession or be able to invest in the primary attribute. ...it to the likes of Guild Wars Prophecies. (Factions and Nightfall will be excluded form this review).
Most MMORPG (Massive multiplayer online role playing games) are the same. Create character, get weapon, go stand next to mob, kill mob, repeat. Obviously this is the basic element to these types of games. What Guild Wars does is take this style of gaming and remove, in my opinion, the boring parts and what you are left with is the quick and fun ... ...I am thoroughly enjoying Guild Wars. Unlike most other MMORPGs, Guild Wars cuts out the tedious hack and slash element. Players aren't rewarded too much by how many mobs they've killed in how many hours. The best way to progress in the game is through quests, which involve much more than your usual "go collect me so and so, then come back". Don't get me wrong, these quests are still in the game but most of the quests have some fun to them. Whether ...

I have played guild wars for over two years now, which in itself isn't remarkable to many others, but add that to the fact that I am a 45yr old woman with limited experiance of gaming, online or otherwise, and it says a little more. This game drew me into MMORPG's slowly and unsuspectingly and these days, with a number it titles under my belt, I have taken on some of the brightest and best youngsters and shown them a trick or two!

THE CHARACTERS
There are 6 professions in the game: Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Elementalist, Mesmer, Necromancer. ADDICTIVENESS
Very addictive but easily controlled as you can log out and in of the game quickly without the need to save (as it does this automatically). I find myself clicking on Guild Wars in between surfing for a quick quest.

Advantages: Its Free, Little to no LAG Disadvantages: No extras, Low Level Cap
So Guild Wars. It's one of the few MMORPG's out there that is free and because of that many people believe it to be rubbish. This is entirely untrue it's a fantastic game I still play it occasionally even now and that's because its free. Unlike the more played MMO's Guild Wars doesn't cost a penny (aside from buying the disc) this means that if you want to play you can, there's no more I cant play this month because I can't afford it or wasting money ... ...to the good bits in Guild Wars you have a primary and a secondary profession this makes it more fun as you can try out the different skills of the different professions without having to delete your characters (you only get 4 slots) there is also very little penalty to which class you chose as your primary, you only lose one of the secondary classes skills. The 2 profession system also make the PvP of Guild Wars much more entertaining as you never ...

Guild Wars is one of the ever increasing lineup of online games for the PC. In Guild Wars you can make up to four characters, which you can use to explore the vast world and complete quests to level up your characters and fight to save the world from the threatening invasion of an evil race of beings known as the Charr. ...into groups? Well then, try Guild Wars.
The premise of Guild Wars is that skill is greater than items. You can have the 'best' armour, but get wiped in two seconds. A skilled player can fight the toughest monsters in only average armour.
The background story isn't the strongest point. It starts off quite well, with the enemies of Ascalon (the starting city and tutorial area) trying to find a way to overcome the huge walls surrounding the city. ... ...just for this. There are guild halls that can be purchased, where you can start up Guild vs Guild battles, or even just kick back and relax.
PvP is a large part of this game; for those who don't want to do the story, you can create a PvP only character. PvP takes place in arenas, meaning you won't get killed by random people out in the wilderness. There are different types, such as Random (don't pick a team, just get dumped in with a random group), ...

Advantages: Outstanding Graphics, Good Gameplay, Sound Disadvantages: Addictiveness
Guild wars takes the best elements of today's massively multiplayer online games and combines them with a new mission-based design that eliminates the tedium of those games. You can meet new friends in towns or outposts, form a party, and then go and complete various quests to complete the game. Your party always has its own unique copy of the quest map, so camping, kill-stealing, and long lines to complete quests are all things of the pasts. No ... ...get to a certain place. Guild Wars allows you to map travel which, is a lot quicker then walking and instead of loading 3 different locations you only have to load the one you are going to. You'll never meet new players only to discover that you can't play with them or compete against them because their characters are on a different server than yours; in Guild Wars, all characters live in different worlds that only their parties can access.

Almost every item you get can be broken down and salvaged to get raw crafting material to make new clothes, weapons and armour. The basic ...

My points: 7
Comments: I have had Guild Wars for 1 maybe 2 years, and I liked it at first, but everything in the games get repeated all the time, well here is my review on it and I hope you like it.
When you first get the game, you will have to install it and you will need to have a decent computer for this game.
The minimum computer specifications to play Guild Wars are as ... ...just so you know with Guild Wars you have to have a Fist name and a Last name, so you have to have at least 2 words for your name, this was the first ever game I saw this in.

You will do some quests to level you up, after you have leveled up a bit, you can choose your seconday ...
