DO YOU WANNA BE A ROCK GOD 2!!
Review of Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) by
DixieChick10
Advantages: Better than the orginal two.
Disadvantages: Need the guitar which is £20 extra.
...of you have read my Guitar Hero 2 review and hopefully enjoyed it, well here it is, the new and improved version GUITAR HERO 3..
I wanted this game since it came out, I brought the second one back in September but without the guitar and found that to be alright, but a couple of weeks ago I got a call from my mum asking if I wanted Guitar Hero 3, she had managed to find it in Tesco's for £25 instead of £50. I of course said yes and the shop had ...

Release your inner Guitar Hero!
Review of Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) by
midpikyrozziy
Advantages: Incredibly addictive, great soundtrack
Disadvantages: A bit pricey, could have even more songs
...third installment in the prolific Guitar Hero needed to be good in order to match its rival Rock Band, and it doesn't disappoint. Activision has produced the best in the series so far, and the rival games will have to step up to match this one.
The aim of Guitar Hero 3 - Legends of Rock retains the same gameplay as the previous two. Using a special guitar-shaped controller, the players aim is to hit notes as they scroll towards the bottom of the ...

So, you want to be a guitar hero?
Review of Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) by
ntg13
Advantages: extremely enjoyable and origional
Disadvantages: can be a little expensive, hard to put down!
...controllers from the two previous guitar hero games are compatible with this one.. The game is sold in many high street stores, such as HMV and Game Station and can also be easily found on the internet.
The controller for the game is a small plastic wireless guitar. It has 5 couloured fret buttons, a stummer and a whammy bar. No previous knowledge of guitars is necessary and the tutorials can teach you everything you need to know to start playing.
There ...

Guitar Hero 3
Review of Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) by
DDRShaolin
Advantages: Excellent song list, good learning curve, excellent replay value
Disadvantages: The lead singer design is awful.
I'm a Guitar Hero addict. This series of rhythm based guitar playing has completely restored my faith in gaming. After a particularly bland spot through the early 00's of story based games I found myself buying SNES and Megadrive games on Ebay to satisfy my need for good old fashioned pick up and play enjoyment. Guitar Hero is the first game to really capture that spirit again, in my humble opinion.
For those out there unfamiliar with the series, ...

Guitar Hero Me!
Review of Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) by
vikkiknight
Advantages: so addictive, brilliant game
Disadvantages: so addictive! does get progressively harder which can frustrate
...house and the stupid plastic guitar was sitting in front of the tv inviting me to push all the right buttons. I thought 'what the hey' there was nobody there to laugh at me when I did bad and if I did suck at it nobody would know I ever even considered picking up the guitar.
Now, when I tried it I was finding it really awkward for some reason although I didn't start off too badly. I'm left handed so I put it down to that, until I was flicking through ...

Rockin' Good Game
Review of Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) by
hawkinsgal
Advantages: Good songs, good graphics, great interaction
Disadvantages: false advertising with certain songs
...controller you get is a guitar which is fantastic fun to use. There are 5 coloured buttons on the neck of the guitar and there is a plucking button on the body of the guitar which you have to strum as you play a note, like a real guitar. This controller even has a WAHWAH stick on it for the longer notes in the game. Now, the object of the game is to complete songs without getting booed off the stage and the further you get the harder the songs get. ...

Guitar Hero: 3 review
Review of Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) by
ReviewIt01
Advantages: very easy to use, good sound quality
Disadvantages: Bad graphics
I found the guitar hero: 3 game a very fun and enjoyable game, that can be played with family and friends at all gaming levels.
A wide veriaty of songs allows most users to play meny songs they enjoy in 4 levels: easy, mediam, hard, and expert. This means that no matter what standard you are playing at, you can enjoy it without getting bored of failing a cirtain level.
The games graphics are not particularly good, but the sound quality of the game ...

Guitar Hero III legends of rock..your a star!
Review of Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) by
meggles1988
Advantages: Fantastic gameplay where you can really see progress you make
Disadvantages: Dont get wireless controller
I love guitar hero, im addicted to it. I was slighlty let down by guitar hero 2...but I have to say they certainly made up for it in Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock! So whats better? The songs, there is a great variety, some more classics that we totally forgot about in the other 2 games and some other entertaining ones (try doing dragonforce and say its easy!). The fact that the songs are actually performed by the actual bands, because lets face ...
