...of you have read my Guitar Hero 2 review and hopefully enjoyed it, well here it is, the new and improved version GUITAR HERO 3..
I wanted this game since it came out, I brought the second one back in September but without the guitar and found that to be alright, but a couple of weeks ago I got a call from my mum asking if I wanted Guitar Hero 3, she had managed to find it in Tesco's for £25 instead of £50. I of course said yes and the shop had made ... ...this case it's a wireless guitar you get a 4 foot long box to carry everything in. With that you get the body of the guitar, the neck and stickers to make your guitar more unique. You also get batteries included and a thing to put in the front of your play station where your controllers usually go. ===Wireless Guitar===
This bit is a bit different to my other review. Before I played the game with just the controllers, this makes the game about £20 ...

...third installment in the prolific Guitar Hero needed to be good in order to match its rival Rock Band, and it doesn't disappoint. Activision has produced the best in the series so far, and the rival games will have to step up to match this one.

There are 4 difficulty levels - EASY, which uses only three of the frets, MEDIUM, which uses four of the frets, HARD, which utilizes all five frets, and EXPERT, which adds to the number of notes and the complexity of the patterns. ...games console of all time.
Guitar Hero III ‘Legends of Rock’ masterfully exploits both anomolies.
Guitar Hero is available on a number of formats – including Nintendo DS, Xbox, PC and PS3 HOWEVER the humble PS2 is still in the frame and capable of providing if not endless hours of entertainment, at the very least, a distraction during a wet Bank Holiday weekend.
It’s entirely possible to play the PS2 version using the standard controller – although ... ...basic form of an electric guitar – on the fretboard are six coloured buttons, these correspond directly to the right hand controls on a standard PS2 controller, indeed this can still be used as an alternative.
Where you’d strum the strings is a broad switch, a tremolo arm and a couple of pushbutton switches where the volume and tone pots are usually positioned complete the illusion.
Two versions of the guitar are available – a ‘cabled’ one – which ...

...controllers from the two previous guitar hero games are compatible with this one.. The game is sold in many high street stores, such as HMV and Game Station and can also be easily found on the internet.

Advantages: Excellent song list, good learning curve, excellent replay value Disadvantages: The lead singer design is awful.
I'm a Guitar Hero addict. This series of rhythm based guitar playing has completely restored my faith in gaming. After a particularly bland spot through the early 00's of story based games I found myself buying SNES and Megadrive games on Ebay to satisfy my need for good old fashioned pick up and play enjoyment. Guitar Hero is the first game to really capture that spirit again, in my humble opinion.
For those out there unfamiliar with the series, ... ...is a Gibson SG shaped guitar controller, with five coloured 'fret' buttons on the neck of the guitar, a strumming bar (where you would strum the strings) and a whammy bar. This is your instrument, and as coloured dots descend down your tv screen towards you your task is to hold the right note and strum at the right time, thus playing the note in the song. Simple premise. Unbelievably satisfying, addictive, challenging and fun.
So Guitar Hero 3. ...

There are 5 coloured buttons on the neck of the guitar and there is a plucking button on the body of the guitar which you have to strum as you play a note, like a real guitar. I found the guitar hero: 3 game a very fun and enjoyable game, that can be played with family and friends at all gaming levels.
A wide veriaty of songs allows most users to play meny songs they enjoy in 4 levels: easy, mediam, hard, and expert. This means that no matter what standard you are playing at, you can enjoy it without getting bored of failing a cirtain level.
The games graphics are not particularly good, but the sound quality of the game ... ...helpful, as you can break down the songs and the full song, or chunks of a song at a veriaty of speeds, this is a very good feature of the game, because you can get your fingers used to it before you play it in cerrer mode.
All of my family and friends have it, and they all find it a very good game to play, with the carrer mode, practice mode, training mode and quick-play mode to build your standards to the extreme.
I recommend this product to ...
