HiPP Organic Products
-----------------------------
Ordinarily I make my own home-made baby purées as I like to know that my daughter is eating fresh, organic produce and I also rest well in the knowledge of knowing what's going into her mouth i.e. no salt or chemicals. However, what I want and the practicality of life are two entirely different things so it's not always an option to offer her my home-made food for every meal, such as the occasions ... ...the next best thing.
HiPP have been making baby foods for over 50 years and specialise in making foods with the highest quality produce. They have since become one of the top manufacturers of organic baby foods - so much so, they have frequently won awards for their high quality. What makes this high quality is:
· They only use certified organic ingredients
· They use no harmful pesticides
· They use no GM (Genetically Modified) ingredients

Advantages: Good for baby & for mum Disadvantages: None which can I think of
...A friend introduced me to Hipp Organic Food who could not recommend it highly enough and after doing some investigating I decided to try it out with Christopher.
Apparently Hipp products do rather well in this country (UK) and has seen significant growth over the years, well none of their products have GM ingredients, no preservatives, no colorants and the idea of foods grown in good old healthy soil that’s not been treated with chemical sprays ... ...gluten, dairy etc. Hipp juices are available for babies from 1 week old going all the way up to suitable drinks for older children.
These colourful jars come with teasing images of the food within for example potatoes, sweetcorn etc, decorated with the well known Hipp Logo, each jar listing all the ingredients and the nutrional value which I believe on Ciao I am not allowed to reveal, but if in doubt check out on supermarket shelf before buying.

...was created by Dr Claus, Hipp Chief Executive Officer, Hipp due to the concerns about food health scares and the desire to give children a varied yet wholesome diet. Many parents who start their children out on organic foods want to continue once they get past a year.
Hipp is a German baby food manufacturer and it leads the market in the exclusive use of organic vegetables for its products. In Germany, Hipp has been instrumental in promoting organic ... ...opposed to blending foods, then Hipp is one to try. Okay, so it is not the cheapest bottled food on the supermarket shelves today. I am not saying that this product is right for every child but surely it is worth trying to help reduce some of the manmade, synthetic products from a child’s diet. Hipp is bringing out a range of children’s organic meals for children over fifteen months old in the near future too.

...you might consider baby foods. Hipp are an option well worth considering.
I am not aware of any other companies offering organic baby food (please comment if you know otherwise as this would be very useful.). I'm sure I don't need to spell out the advantages - the chemicals added to 'protect' ordinary produce can cause reactions and may have long term harmful effects. So, there's a lot to be said for organic baby food.

These come in re-sealable packs, you make them up with whatever formula you use and away you go. They are very good. Hipp also do little pots of baby food - haven't tried these ...

...in my opinion that is HIPP baby foods. You can get dried packets (which I haven't tried and have no intention to) and jars which are suitable from 4 mths, 7 mths or 12 mths. The range is good but one bad thing is that they don't do just carrots, or just peas etc for when you first start weaning. Virtually all the 4 mths and most of the 7 mth foods are gluten free and the best thing about HIPP is what you see is what you get. If it says carrots and ... ...potatoes and nothing more, no addatives, no colours no nothing. It gives you peace of mind to know your child is still getting a whole lot of goodness and as close to the real taste as you can get. When I have given Thai some cooked vegetables or chicken or spagetti bolognaise etc I've never even had so much as a screwed up face and I put this down to HIPPs flavours being so exact.
Unfortunately it can be hard to get hold of them though, most supermarkets ...

Thank goodness for Hipp organic baby food, When I had my second son, I knew he was going to be a fussy eater, he wouldn't drink baby milk, which resulted in me Breast feeding for ten months and enduring painfull breasts, then when we started to wean him, he took baby rice o.k but when it come to a jar, I ended up wearing it, he did not like it one bit, luckily I had planned to give him my dinners anyway, but I thought it best that I tried jar food ... ...one day I noticed the Hipp Jars, I thought well I'll give it a go, so I brought one, I believe it was mixed vegetables and rice, it cost a little more than the other jars at around 57p for a 4 month jar, but I couldn't believe it, my son ate the whole lot up with no problems at all.
I was really impressed with this food, it smelt and tasted quite good (as far as baby food goes, though I wouldn't recomend it for dinner)and it is made with all organic ...

...pleased when I discovered the Hipp organic brand. I was pleased to discover when reading the labels that the ingredients for each recipe are exactly the same as the ones that I would use. For example the tender carrots and potato flavour, which is suitable for a 4 month old, just contains carrots (78%), potatoes (10%) and water (2%). This was pleasing to see as some of the other organic baby foods e.g. organix had up to 35% water added.
I was not ... ...potato as she has turned her nose up at every other bought food I have tried to give her but she wolfed this down and even asked for some more. This was a high recommendation from a four month old. The jars suitable for weaning cost 59p for 125ml, which I think, would be fairly expensive for a daily product but quite reasonable for occasional use.
I decided to look on the Internet for a website and found them at www.hipp.co.uk. I was extremely impressed ...

...convenient to carry around. HIPP baby food is the only baby food I have ever given my 6 month son and he loves it.
You can get HIPP baby food in most supermarkets. They do the smaller jars for 4 months plus and larger jars for 7 months plus. I use the small jars and these are about 55p. This is a little more expensive than other brands but amongst the cheapest organic brand that I have found. You can buy savoury and pudding jars.

Hipp organic baby foods are great and my daughter absolutly loved them when she was ababy. These are great value for money and my daughter loves them!
There are different varities - mini burgers and rice, chicken nuggets and vegetables and spaghetti bolognaise, and come in a large 300gramm jar, so you can get at least two meals out of them, possibly more depending on how much your child eats.
The good thing about these is that you know that everything in them is organic, and no chemicals have been used in the growing cycle of teh ingredients.
