...that doesn't have to. AF Screen-Clene cleaning wipes are almost half the price of the Belkin equivalent and are readily available in most good computer shops for around £2.49 - £2.99 for a tub containing 100 wipes.
The wipes are not very large, about the size of a women's handkerchief, and are impregnated with a cleaning solution, which brings your screen up nicely. There is no need to go over the top cleaning a quick wipe around the outside of ... ...suffice. The cleaning solution contains alcohol and therefore evaporates away quick once the screen has been cleaned. You can obviously use them on a CRT monitor as well, but with them being glass there re other methods of cleaning equally as good. In cleaning the screen and indeed the keyboard, and mouse they do a great job, they have though a far superior purpose for us oldies.
Get that old vinyl out of storage and give it a treat. These wipes ...

They come in sachets with two halves and are kept in a box with a pull off lid and stickers on the back so you can attach the box to your computer. These stickers are useful but mean you are pretty much permanently ... ...very strong! Does it work?
I got these as we had just had an office move and during the move everything got totally covered in dust and grime. Having tried just to use a damp cloth on my machine I thought I would give these a go - I was surprised to see how well they worked.
