Bought this notebook a while back and have to say am very satisfied with it. Unlike many notebooks, it has all the features of a desktop computer and I am seriously considering getting rid of my normal PC after buying this.
===Speed===
For a notebook, not bad, the boot-up time is faster than my main pc and there is never really a moment when you want to throw it out the window because it's taking so long (as I have had with some computers).
4/5
... ...I am not concerned with, and even proud of, using this in public. It is also quite comfortable to use, being very light and thin.

===Memory / capacity===
I have not had any problem with the memory yet and I save one hell of alot of stuff. I seriously doubt you will fill this. The model I bought, the KX872AA, has 1024MB DDR RAM and 120GB HDD. However, the FF009AA has 2048MB DDR RAM and 120GB HDD so if you want more RAM go for that one.

Advantages: Small, cheap and does everything a casual user would need Disadvantages: Nothing which is not offset by the price
I bought this product before Christmas for £186 from IT247 as my laptop had well and truely packed up. It came with Linux which I just couldn't fathom, but I installed XP and have not had any problems. It appealed to me as I was after a cheap laptop in the £200 region, for internet and word processing and not a great deal else, but didn't like the plastic-y appearance and small keyboard of the other netbooks. Also it came with a good sized hard drive ... ...while to get used to the smaller screen but compared to my old laptop (a 4 year old Toshiba satellite pro that was a nightmare from day 1!) it is highly transportable and yet still functions well beyond the spec of a 'netbook'. I had read that the battery life is short (i think less than 2 hours, please double check this though) but as I use it plugged in this doesn't affect me. I have found that it freezes occasionally (like any computer I have ...

Quick review of HP 2133 Mini-Note
Small-in-size and light are my most important requirements for a mobile PC. Keyboard size is great; I found it a bit similar with those of my regular sized laptop (the one I use at home!). It is Wi-Fi ready, fast (1GB RAM), and has great storage capacity (120GB). As a student, I found my perfect companion.
Only problem I have with the unit is: generated heat. Hope succeeding designs would incorporate a better cooling system without affecting of course its super lightweight feature. ...

Advantages: very compact and easy to use. It is by far the best personal computer. Disadvantages: Not good graphic and screen size compatabiliy
I love the HP 2133 Mini-Note. It is a great personal computer, compact and easy to use. I like how you can take it anywhere and fit it in almost any bag. The only problem I have with it is the smaller screen which can't fit with some websites screen resolution and size. another problem i have is with the graphics card is not compatible with most 3d games and won't run direct 3d for some things. It also does not have a disk drive which i would prefer ...

Advantages: General Design Disadvantages: Processor
...from one big difference, the HP 2130 is underpowered, by a via C7 processor. This means more demanding applications will lag and struggle to compete with the performance given by the Intel Atom used by all the competing netbooks. For this reason I would suggest the HP 2140. The netbook keeps the same much loved aluminium enclosure and keyboard but adds a 10.1" screen and the use of the Intel Atom Processor. It has a 1gb ram upgradable to 2gb. And ... ...preference lying in XP for speed, performance and compatibility with the Intel Atom. All this makes the HP 2140 the most desirable netbook on the market for both form and function. The HP 2140 is not readily available in the UK. It can be brought from Ebay and Misco. ...
