Advantages: Very fast cheap to run printer Disadvantages: quite large for home use
I bought an HP 1200d Printer in April of this year. I chose this printer because the reviews I had read were excellent and I wanted a printer with seperate ink cartridges that were quock and were in my privce range. This printer met all 3 conditions. The print speed of text is very very quick, colour printing is quick but photos are fairly slow however the quaality is excellent. The printer has a built in duplex facility. The 1200d is a little bigger ... ...print heads to deal with. HP says each cartridge can manage 1,750 pages. The beauty of seperate cartridges is that if the Cyan runs out you just change the cyan you do not loose the remainder of teh other colours.
The black print head can do approx 16,000 pages, and each color print head around 24,000 pages.
Two other important touches are a duplexer and a 6,250-page-per-month duty cycle. The 150-page input capacity is low, but adequate. Output ...

Advantages: fast ,super laser quality and economical Disadvantages: can be troublesome for home use if you dont have lot of space
Very satisfied with the product performance, but struggling to find the cartridges.. hard . tried everywhere online , in shops for c4840a...black.
Still I suggest this product for home or office use. I will get the cartridge as well. I am sure..
After one week..........
and after some research I got it as well and much cheaper as i thought. Initially it comes with black c 4840a , 26ml but for replacing
we get c4844a which is 70ml and only 30euro..
... ...get the black cartridge with double quantity, that means less tension of replacing it also and more economical.
Overall, I am enjoying using this Printer at home also. i won't say that its only for small businesses, I am using it at home , I have a good usage. I print on an average 5000 sheets in a month.
So, its fast speed, easy usage and excellent performance makes me proud owner of this product. ...
