I ordered my HP Compaq 6715b from PC World Business on 01 Oct 07 (£708.00 incl VAT). The machine arrived at the store (CR0 postcode) three days later (04 Oct 07). Took it home and charged the laptop as advised. The next morning (05 Oct 07), the transformer wasn't working, so the battery wasn't being charged. I contacted PCW Customer Services for their advice. I was told that someone from the store would call me back within the hour. Two hours later, ...

I like the Lap top overall. But I have been facing the following problems with the same. I use 1400 x 1050 resolution in 32 bit mode display setting most of the time. Whenever I close and open my lap top, the display gets enlarged and only a portion of the desktop will be visible in the display window. I have to scroll around to see the whole of the desk top or I have to again switch to a different diplay setting say 1440 x 900 or some thing and then revert back to 1400 x 1050. It is frustrating some times. The Laptop uses ATI Radeon Xpress 1270 display adaptor. Any suggestions to fix this issue will be highly appreciated.Thanks ...

This is a neat little laptop. Boasts everything you would ever need for a business purpous machine. I payed well over £600.00 at the time of getting this and now it has taken a big price drop and is even more of a bargain. A Fantastic all rounder, this compact laptop is brimming with features. The CPU and RAM cope easily run XP and demanding games and applications, It will also work with Vista. the fingerprint scanner adds an extra level of security and the SD card reader along with the USB and firewire ports give plenty of connectivity. I've had this laptop for about six months now and have had no problems at all, it handles my eBay business with ease. It is quick, easy to use and looks great. The keyboard and touchpad are very good quality, the fingerprint sensor is an ingenious touch and the screen is very clear.
