...for a laptop/notebook. Mind you HP call it a notebook which I would disagree with. There are Sony VIAO's out there that are real notebooks. This baby however is bigger than what I could consider to be a notebook so I'm going to refer to it as a laptop.
I do a fair amount of travel on business and this machine is just about right for long distance travel to far away countries. Advantages: Fast, Large Screen, Great keyboard, 4Hour battery life Disadvantages: Looks dated, screen casing a bit flimsy, small HDD and Memory
I first discovered the NX6125 in a local computer shop, and wasn't particularly drawn to it's business-like, dark and plain looks.
The specification sheet didn't look too impressive either, but after finding out this marvel only cost £459 I was keen to look deeper!
Closer inspection revealed some hidden secrets - a multi-card reader, fingerprint scanner, 4 hour battery life and an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M PCI Express graphics card all made the NX6125 ... ...After a full charge at home, Windows reported 4 hours and 14 minutes of battery, dropping to 2 hours and 35 under heavy load (CPU tests and defragmenting!)
This turned out to be 4 hours and 9 minutes, and 2 hours 24 when actually left and timed. Both tests were with Wireless LAN off, the screen set to 50% brightness, and power management off.

Advantages: Tough little versatile laptop with a great viewing angle. Disadvantages: Needs a little more RAM for games, but is easily added up tp 2GB
This laptop is an absolute bargain!
I bought one for my first year at university and although it only comes with 512MB RAM an extra 256MB makes this a versatile computer that copes really well with anything I can throw at it from Games such as Half Life 2 which tend to be a bit too high graphic for most standard laptops.
The graphics card used is ATI Radeon Xpress 200M.
It comes complete with biometric finger scanner to let you log in which is ... ...password, but you don't tend to forget your finger!
There is a finger touchpad and two buttons plus a touch scroll section to the touch pad. There are also however 3 USB ports ( 2on the left hand side and one on the back) so if you prefer a mouse there is plenty of space to plug one in.
This laptop also comes complete with DVD/CD-RW Combo drive and built in 6 in 1 card media reader located on the front of the laptop that supports;- Multi-Media ...
