HP Compaq Presario V4000 series

I guess it is safe to say the design will never win any awards. It looks chunky and the color combination (all silver inside and matt black on the outside) doesn't look very appealing. The buttons on the touch-pad feel rubbery and offer a good touch, but it attracts dirt, is nearly impossible to clean. Ditto for the silver finish too...starts to rub off after a few months and ends looking ancient. The specs are decent and well worth the price - but ...

I agree that this notebook is not good on the eyes but I have had one for over 3 yrs and it has never failed me yet.It just keeps on ticking.I know it's been upgraded since I bought it but i certainly have no regrets and when I do upgrade I will definately get another presario.I certainly am not willing to compromise durability for style...I am also a dj and I have been all over with this notebook and it has never embarrassed me.It has survived many ...
