Advantages great all round printer
Disadvantages loud

My home printer after three years decided that it no longer wanted to print. I then had to weight up the cost of getting the old printer repaired or going out and purchasing a new printer. I looked around and realised that printers were very cheap and that there was no contest, I opted to buy a new one. I search around online for reviews to help me make a decision, but with so many mixed reviews I went for a cheap version so if it wasn’t that good I could purchase a new one. Advantages Does exactly what it says it does
Disadvantages A little noisey when printing

First and foremost the HP Deskjet 1050 does not come with a USB cable. I already knew this but so many people are outradged to find there isn't one included I thought I'd mention it just to set the record straight. This all in one printer does exactly what it says on the box. Very reasonable price £29.99 from Tesco. Very easy to set up and install, instructions and set up disc are included. Comes complete with black and colour ink cartridges, it is optimised for efficient engery use complete with eco friendly reuseable bag for transportation purposes. Advantages REALLY CHEAP, works on all systems
Disadvantages Noisy, Continues printing when there is no ink

Before I start the review, I'd like to say that I simply love this printer as I got it for just 9 pounds as it was on discount on a bookshop in Hong Kong. I am so happy. Ive always had problems with different printers that arent well known brands so I thought I was coosing a safe bet going with HP but i was wrong. Not only doesnt the qualitity of the things you print are not up the scratch. It doesnt print straightaway you have to wait on average 3 days to get what ever you wanted to print but usually by then it isnt of use. I have tried just about everything to get it to work but only on very rare times that it has printed properally and straight away. Advantages Cheap to buy, inks cheap to replace, does everything the average home user would need.
Disadvantages I haven't found any.

I bought this printer when my Dell all in one printer packed up and I didn't have a lot of money to spare for a replacement. The HP Deskjet1050 was the cheapest printer-copier-scanner I could find. So I ordered it. When it arrived I was very pleased with the look and size of it, and with the fact that it was so easy to install. It works beautifully and actually prints more quickly than my Dell used to. The inks are cheaper to replace too! It does everything I need a printer to do. Print, copy and scan in one for good price 30/11/2012

Advantages 3 in 1 for good price
Disadvantages missing USB cabel and a little bit noisy

I have always had HP printer but only for printing. Quality of their printers is good and mostly for reasonable price. When my last printer broke down I knew that HP would be the best choice again. I heard much about these printers all in one so I wanted to try it. I bought coloured ink HP Deskjet 1050 in HP store for good price 39 £, with free photo paper and three years warranty. It is compatible almost with all of the operating systems. You will get black and colour ink cartridges for the start. Quality of print is not excellent but it is good for the price you pay. Advantages Cheap, easy set up, long lasting ink
Disadvantages all right photos but not great.

I believe this product is the best in its price range because it is easy it use because it took 10 minutes to set up and I haven't had any problems from it. Another reson it that the printer ink that it takes has lasted two months and it is still going even thought I print things off it all the time, the ink seems to never give up. I will also say the refills are cheap and they then last a long time to, so you can't loss with such a cheap and job doing printer.
