Advantages Advantages Good size keyboard, large smooth touchpad, good screen, webcam

Disadvantages Disadvantages Keyboard becomes shiny very quickly due to use

The HP G62-105SA is a real big change to HP's standard notebook design, with the design having an embedded pattern design in the chassis and the palmrest area, including the top lid, too. It's a nice design, to say the least. I wouldn't consider this laptop a premium laptop and I think HP made it suitable as an affordable home machine that's perfect for throwing your everyday tasks at it. It's priced at around £479, possibly cheaper depending on which retail store you purchase it from. Screen The screen is a 15.6" high definition LED "HP BrightView" display, and as soon as I used it for the ... more

Advantages Advantages 64 bit computing, RAM can be extended upro 8 GB (3 slots available), a reliable notebook.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing new, same old traditional notebook, not a large battery capacity.

It have not passed many days since I have bought a HP G62-105SA. The all new HP Pavilion G62-105SA is another great product from Hewlett Packard. A great, sleek, stylish design all combined in a 16:9, 15.6 inch (39.6 cm) LED display. It's LED display is what I most like about it. It has a high brightness and also suitable contrast. With a sleek design, prism pattern, textured and matt imprint finish common and nothing new kind of features, this notebook helps you to get more done and even look good doing it. Although I feel proud when I open the notebook in front of my friends as they have DELL ... more

Advantages Advantages Light, HDMI, Large Memory,

Disadvantages Disadvantages Keyboard design, USB port placement, trackpad,

HP is the most popular brand of laptops in universities these days. The G62 has everything you'll need for the next two to three years of study. In addition, the HDMI port gives you the option to connect it to you widescreen TV on weekends. The USB ports on the left side are placed too close to each other and the bulky USB Connectors often hog the space- leaving you with only two usable ports out of three. Bad Design This is my first laptop without a matt finish screen and reflections are not much of an issue, the screen is bright. Something that takes a lot of getting used to is the keyboard ... more

Advantages Advantages 4GB of ram, 500GB HDD and a powerfull processor

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Verry cheap housing

I got this laptop back in May as a birthday gift from my girlfriend. Iv never bean a huge fan of HP or laptops, but I was happy at first with this laptop. The amd processor may only be 2.2Ghz but it packs a punch with its triple core processor. Aswell as its 500GB HDD and 4GB of ram makes this a powerfull laptop. The laptop is pre-installed with windows 7 and features 3 USB ports aswell as a SD card, LAN port, VGA out and a HDMI output which in my opinion comes in verry handy for games and films. The webcam and mic is also of good quality for being a factory installed accessory. The wifi range ... more

    Advantages Advantages fast, great price

Disadvantages Disadvantages overheats has to go back

This is yet another product produced by HP.Very fast laptop with 3mb cache dual core processor only 2gb so not the greatest but it does and massive of storage with 500gb HDD all very nice and sleek and looks good. However my experience of this laptop is not great at all it is yet another design fault of HP that lets its self down in the cooling area. This laptop will eventually like most other HPs over heat and the HDD will fail because the HDD is sitting next to the extraction my advice on this side is avoid. Not to mention the charger of mine also gets very hot and like other reviews on HP ... more

Advantages Advantages Speed, large screen, navigation, loads quickly.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Integrated mousepad.

Compared to other laptops I have tried, I think this is very easy to navigate, and loads very quickly. In my opinion, this is a brilliant laptop for a first time user, especially a young one. It has a built in webcam for talking to friends on Skype or Msn, and it can do all the simple things that need doing, fast. I wouldn't say this was an excellent laptop for an advanced user - but is entirely satisfactory as a laptop. A good feature is the custom 'power saver' setting, which makes the battery last much longer by adjusting brightness etc. The picture is still clear with this, and you can ... more

Advantages Advantages Reasonable price, all the essentials for student/home use, nice pattern and only approx 2.5kg

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as super fast as I expected, the touch pad is annoying, and the mouse button is way too stiff!

An easy to use, i3 Intel Processor, 250GB hard drive, and 2.5GhZ processor. Also has a built in web cam to make life easier as well as easy communication via WiFi. The cd/DVD R/Writer is also handy to make quick CD/DVD's for everyday use. But the feature that really impresses me, is the LightScribe, which comes standard with this latop and enables you to design fascias for your CD and DVD, which are then burned directly on to it. This is a laptop for home and internet use only. If you want something to play games or run complex programs with huge databases, this is NOT the product for you. But ... more

Advantages Advantages portable, sleek design, not too compicated, fast, good microsoft office

Disadvantages Disadvantages low battery life, some inconsitencies in internet browsing

I recently received this laptop, and am using it right now! I think it is great, most of the time. My interent loads very quickly with google, but slowly with bing, alothough I'm not sure if that has to do with the websites or this laptop. It sometimes has connection problems, which will drive anyone crazy. It has nice features, such as a webcam, which is actually pretty good at taking pictures and videos! However, it was a little hard to find out how to begin using. The laptop has a nice sleek design with good keys and a nice feature that allows you to turn off the mouse to keep it from ... more

Advantages Advantages Brilliant memory, excellent speed

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

From a professional point of view this product is the best I have seen for a while. The ability for the device to multitask is incredible providing you with 3GB of Random access memory to give you the chance of running multiple applications at the same time. This is also good if you were thinking about using this device for gaming, however maybe a better graphics card would make the game play better. However for the normal home user or business user it offers everything you need. The product is very easy when considering on the move computing with excellent battery life and portability. Should ... more

Advantages Advantages Full sized keyboard, HD screen.

Disadvantages Disadvantages I haven't found any yet.

On first impression this laptop looked very appealing to the eye. It holds a lovely sleek design, then i turned it on and things got even better! I was expecting it to be just another slow laptop, but it isn't! Its by far the fastest laptop i've had experience with. It can actually handle opening more than 1 program at a time. It has a built in webcam and microphone, which are great for video calls. They both could be a little better in quality, but they are definitely satisfactory. The sound quality is actually good for a laptop, but its made better with a pair of speakers. The laptop comes ... more
