Advantages: Fast printing, Good size LCD screen for viewing photos etc.
Disadvantages: the HP cartridges are bit expensive and the printer doesnt have fax service.

...family can use it because HP have made the printer family friendly and i mostly use the printer for scanning so i have to say that when scanning documents, this printer is very good and when you print something, its so quick and nice quality prints even in fast print option. Advantages: picture perfect, spot on printing
Disadvantages: uses too much ink

I bought one of these printers for work. This involves me printing out a lot of information with pictures and photographs incorporated into them. I found that the psc 2355 is much quicker and more acurate than earlier models (I previously owned a psc 1010). The photographs that it produces are of very high quality also. Now I've had a few HP printers in my time and all though they have undoubted durability, reliability and compatability, the quality itself has never quite been able to match up to the other leading brands like lexmark and laserjet.
