    Advantages Advantages Looks brilliant, huge screen, very powerful

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Size and weight (only to be expected), short battery time

    This is the first computer that I have bought just for myself - in the past I have always shared other people's or used their old ones. I therefore spent a long time looking at many different laptops before deciding on the dv9340. I didn't really need it to be very portable (luckily!), as it is mainly being used at my desk at home, but I wanted to have the capability to take it with me if necessary. I have now had this computer for about a month and a half, so have had time to get a good feel of what it is like.     Advantages Advantages Great design, good overall performance, extra & media features are superb

    To make my review of this laptop easier to read and generally more useful I have broken it down into smaller chunks as follows: Speed: With a dual core 1.66ghz Intel Centrino processor and 2GB of RAM you would expect this laptop to be pretty quick, and fortunately it is. Start up time is pretty reasonable, applications open up quickly, big files load quickly too. Can handle several applications at once and complete several processes at once. I've had a couple of crashes on a few occasions but nothing major that didn't fix itself within a minute or so and was only due to a huge memory overload ... more
