Advantages: Looks Good, nice useful features Disadvantages: only 2 hour battery life
Impressed with this laptop.
Takes a while to get rid of all the freebie/trial software if you don't want it, and lacks the comfort of the restore discs, though there is the option to make your own, the restore function works off a partitioned drive, so get onto that backup job asap.
GFX are not top of the range but having said that, it copes with most games except the most up to date stuff. Nice crisp picture on the screen, although light reflection ... ...is good, picks up signals as easily as the Belkin external aerial I tested out on it.
Not tried the LAN connection and there's always the good old 56k modem.
Card reader and firewire port are useful as are the little touches such as the wireless and mouse pad switches. Nice to see an entertainment device fitted with HDMI as well.
Could do with a few more USB ports, but a powerered USB hub is probably needed if you want to run many more USB devices ...
