Advantages: Battery life, Easy synchronisation, WIFI and application compatability Disadvantages: Not too good speaker quality
I bought this device last year and have had almost no trouble with it since i got it. The device has a nice little docking station which worked great after installing microsoft activesync. As soon as you sit it on the docking station, all of your files, emails and just about anything you want will synchronise with the device to keep you up to date. It also charges from the mains and USB at the same time when its on the docking station so thats helpfull.
... ...front which ensures that nobody but me can access the device as everything is encrypted unti l i slide my finger down the front. There are lots of applications that can be bought or downloaded and installed via activesync to make additions to the device.
Ive got to say, one of the biggest advantages of this device is the battery life, even though i have the device set to power off after five minutes of inactivity, it can last for six hours no problem ...

Even though I have only had the machine for a week or two I have used Wifi a lot and it is very sensitive receiving hot spots that I couldn't get with my laptop. The screen is very ... ...sunshine (normal use is fine). Early on I accidentally dropped the device and it suffered no ill effects (thank goodness). Personally I have no use for the finger print recognition and I could see this possibly causing problems if it locked the machine and malfunctioned. However in sone circumstances it would no doubt give added security.
Thepaper manual seems a little short on detail but the manual on CD is fine.
Overall I find the HX2790 a great, ...
