The product comes in two parts basically you get the rz1710 PDA and a stand alone GPS receiver that you can either stick to the window of your car or the dashboard. I have also found that it claims to take you on the shortest route but have managed to find short cuts myself. Doesn't pick up alot of roads. Using the touch screen on this PDA seemed easier than other PDA's that I have used, this made the note making very easy to use.
