Advantages Advantages Access to internet, easy to use, sturdy, two batteries

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite large in your handbag

A review of my HTC S620 mobile phone provided by BT mobile WHY DID YOU BUY THIS PHONE? I was passing a BT stand in Derby Westfield shopping centre and asked the man about BT broadband as we were looking to change ours. He convinced me that by applying for the BT mobile which would be an extra £5 a month I would get this phone and would be able to access the internet wherever there was a BT mobile signal, in internet cafes, airports and other places away from home. As I had spent quite a lot on internet access in airports I thought this would be a good idea so I followed his advice. WHAT DID ... more

Advantages Advantages Full QWERTY keyboard, easy to use, WiFi, Bluetooth

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor battery life, over sensitive scroll bar

At my place of employment, all our directors and sales team were given one of these phones to use. And, as it was my job to support them, I requested one as well and hey presto, I only got given one! Free mobile calls 24/7, sweet! The look and feel of this phone is great. It's super slim and fairly light weight. It feels robust as well, with a black rubber layer on the back of the phone it feels more expensive than it is. At first I wasn't sure about the full QWERTY keyboard and wondered if the keys would be a bit small for typing. Not the case at all and I was surprised just how quickly I got ... more

Advantages Advantages Has good emailing and windows live features, good wifi.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Wifi has less-ranged connectivity, but it works good.

I bought this phone about a year ago, it gave a good impression in the beginning, but the battery life started to fall as time past. The phone has really great features altogether, and has a brilliant look as well. If only the battery life would have been good it would have been a blast! I changed the battery too, but then it gave the same problem after some time. Upgraded the windows mobile 5 to 6 as well, the windows mobile 6 is one brilliant cellphone-based OS!. The microsoft office is installed in it, theres a whole lot more to it then the windows mobile 5, many better features but yet ... more

5 Stars Quick review of HTC S620 by Level 7 Morgenhund 15/02/2008
A good phone although not with full office functionality. Certainly advisable to carry out the OS upgrade to WM 6.0 - available for free from HTC's website - otherwise a solid performer which works well.

Advantages Advantages Thsi would be a handy tool for someone who is on the move, its like having your laptop in your poc

Disadvantages Disadvantages The screen is vunerable to cracking if left in a pocket, and the battery drains quick when WIFI on

I have had this phone for a while now and would like to share my experiences with anyone thinking of buying. Its about 100mm long by 50mm wide and 12mm thick (up to 20mm with the long life battery). Its very light and fits in the hand nicely. There is a full Querty keyboard with numbers accessed via the FN key, its pretty strange at first, coming from a standard phone, but after a while its very easy to type. The screen is very large and clear, displays photos very well, and movie playback is excellent ( you need a large micro sd card for this, i find 4Meg adequate). With WM6.1 installed youll ... more

Advantages Advantages good battery life, great display, small but powerful

Disadvantages Disadvantages no 3G, Joggr annoying

I love this phone. It has a bright and colorful 2.4 inch tft moniter and comes with windows mobile 5 ( you should upgrade it to 6 it is a lot better). The S620 alo has a joggr scroll on the side of the phone. this can be used to scroll objects and used t scroll pages on the internet. what is annoying about JOGGR is that it only controls one thing. there are 3 settings for joggr ; volume, scroll, volume in media player. so if you were listening to music and you wanted to change the volume you would have to go through several menus and to find the JOGGR one and then change the setting to volume ... more

Advantages Advantages Wifi, Exellent features, Small Smartphone, Will change your life. lol

Disadvantages Disadvantages Hard to find WiFi hotspots, not the latest version of Windows Mobile.

Many people will think that the HTC S620 is a bit strange in the design department. It is a flat, wide phone with a complete QWERTY keyboard and a large display. The back has a rubber layer, making the HTC S620 a comfortable phone to hold. Its construction gives it a well made air. On the back of the phone, there is a camera lens and a mirror for making a self-portrait. Many will think that the HTC S620 has a lot of keys and it does, HTC has fitted a complete QWERTY keyboard on a phone measuring 2.17 x 1.18 inches. With so many keys, you would think it would be difficult to find the number ... more
