Advantages Sleek design, overall a well thought through phone
Disadvantages Poor Battery Life, DLNA complicated to use

Introduction:- Upon being selected recently to test a HTC Sensation for a fortnight on behalf of Ciao I was more than eager to get my hands on the phone to put it through its paces. The reason for this being that I currently own a HTC Wildfire S, and really wanted to see what improvements had been made with the HTC Sensation and whether it lived up to its predecessors performance as well as all of the hype and good things that I have heard about the phone to date. Advantages Sleek design, camera, ease of navigation/use, apps, screen/audio clarity is fantastic, fast set up
Disadvantages Battery runs out fairly quickly, sometimes the camera does not focus, phone is a bit big

Are You Ready For The New Sensation?

Advantages The graphics, screen and sound quality are stunning, many good features.
Disadvantages Battery life, SatNav and connectivity issues.

I’m the kind of girl that likes technology but not the price tag so I was delighted when Ciao asked me if I’d still be willing to test the new HTC Sensation Smartphone. Although I’m very much in love with my Samsung B3410, I’ve always been curious about Smartphones with the main question being would I really benefit from owning one? Advantages Can do just about anything!
Disadvantages Can't always get Youtube to work properly.

When it comes to the world of mobile phones, no one could ever accuse me of being ahead of the game. In fact, quite the opposite is true. Mobile phones were quite commonplace when I gave in and reluctantly bought my first “brick” about 10 years ago, and ever since that time my philosophy when it comes to mobile phones has been simple: Mobiles are handy to have in an emergency if someone needs to contact me urgently and calls and texts are really useful, but I would never spend more than £30 on a handset and a similar amount topping it up over a year. I have recently been given the chance to trial the new HTC Sensation mobile phone, and while I do love my current Blackberry Curve phone, I have, to put it mildly, been quite blown away by the HTC! From first glances, it appeared to combine everything I loved about the Blackberry with a much bigger screen and a lot more features, as well as keeping the layout very simple and easy to use. Advantages packed with features, user friendly, it's like a mini PC in your pocket
Disadvantages battery can drain a bit quick

I’ve owned and used several mobile phones during my time on this mortal coil, starting with those lovely ‘brick’ ones way back in the early days, (you know, the ones where you needed a ruck sack to carry the battery around). I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to test the HTC sensation. This is my first experience of both a smart phone and a phone that doesn’t have buttons but a swipe screen so I wasn’t sure how well I would cope to set it all up and get it going. Given this is on test I am reviewing this sooner than normal and I admit I am not fully au-fait with the entire feature this phone has. Advantages Looks great, gorgeous screen, good multi media features, good camera.
Disadvantages The battery life is poor

The Simply sensational HTC Sensation I was lucky enough to be chosen by Ciao to receive a HTC Sensation to review a few weeks back. Previous to the Sensation I had been using a Samsung Galaxy S2 which I absolutely adored with the exception of the Kies software that came bundled with it so I knew that the HTC Sensation would have to be pretty special if it was going to be able to compare favourably to the Galaxy S2. I was bought this phone a few months ago after my last one decided it was going to give up on me. This is the first touch screen phone I have had and I was a little apprehensive at first about using it. My main worry was whether it would be easy enough for me to use without having to keep consulting instructions; I have a new baby so have no time to read manuals that's for sure!My husband chose this phone for me and decided it was the best- proably because it wasn't stupidly expensive and I have a habit of dropping phones into the bath.
