Advantages: Brilliant, fast internet use Disadvantages: No flash on camera, apart from that there aren't any
...instead I was recommended the HTC Touch HD phone. To begin with I was sceptical as I mainly go for brands that I know which would be Samsung, I?ve had many Samsungs before & have been extremely pleased with them. I had heard of HTC before but wasn?t overly familiar with them, the only HTC phone I had seen was the Diamond which I must admit I didn?t & still don?t like at all. However I thought I?ve got nothing to lose in looking so they got the phone ... ...also told me that the HTC Touch HD phone is by far the best phone on the market & I wouldn?t find anything better out there. Five shops telling me exactly the same thing couldn?t be wrong could they?
Turns out they weren?t! After having a play on the iPhone, to my surprise I was actually quite disappointed, after all the hype I was expecting something that would take my breath away. Yes I suppose I did have high expectations, probably too high but ...

...guide * Warrenty card * HTC care helpline number list * Screen Protector * Soft Case The USB cable also acts as the charger cable as it plugs into the A/C adapter, which otherwise has no cable to connect it to the phone. The screen is a 3.8" WVGA item, making its ... ...FEATURES The HTC Touch HD has some great features. The bright wide screen display offers great viewing of movies and photographs. The processor is quick enough to allow viewing of movies to be smooth, although I would comment that occassionally there is a slow down. To avoid this I found it best to close down programs when you are finished with them, as opposed to simply minimising them. This can be done easily enough using the TouchFLO software. ...

Upon seeing the HTC touch HD i was immediately impressed by its looks. I had considerd HTC before with their tytn II but was put off by a device that didnt have any style whatsoever. Not with the Touch HD. The device is simply gorgeous to look at and has a look and design that will age very well indeed. I always demand both power and looks. I purchased it there and then. Now lets look at the device in a little more detail.

HTC are attempting to lure more than just the technophile with this device. They are trying to appeal to business types as well who after working hard also like to play hard and the features point that out. I used this device extensively for email and word processing as well as viewing various documents and for its music player and camera and more!. No matter what task I threw at it the HD managed to complete it without ...

Advantages: Neat screen and features Disadvantages: Lacks the ease and range of other similar devices
HTC has been always reminded me of Apples iPhone. After all the company even managed to sneak out the original Touch before Apple had time to get the first version of the iPhone to market. But now HTC has got even more competition on its hands with the likes of the Samsung's impressive Omnia on its trail. Its response to this is the Touch HD, a phone with a screen that's so crisp and sharp that it is head and shoulders above the displays on rival ... ...the HTC capable of holding its own against the iPhone and the Omnia?
First of all, the Touch HD looks terrific. The styling is quite minimalist, partly because the front of the phone is almost completely taken over by the big screen. However, other details such as the four control buttons beneath the display are nicely suited and even the stylus tucks neatly away at the bottom edge of the handset. Unlike the iPhone, the back of the gadget slides ...

Advantages: Office works well, full vivid HD quality screen and WORKING touch screen! Disadvantages: Battery life can be drained quickly and data charges can be high
The touch HD is more then I could have ever expected. When I first went in store to look at the different phone models available, I was told that this was tough competition for the iPhone. Competition? The Touch HD has outranked the iPhone one hundred times over. With its super fast touch response as well as ease of access to internet, weather, emails and SMS at the flick of a wrist this phone is one of the most user friendly touch screen phones ... ...touch screen, the phone also runs on Windows Mobile Operating system. The operating system includes all the well known Office suites meaning I can work from my Office away from the Office. This has been the first time I can truly do this, with many phones stating they can do this, yet this being the only one where the full HD widescreen has made it fully possible to see what I am doing.
The sound quality is also second to none, and I now find myself ...

Advantages: Huge screen, Excellent camera, Super fast internet, Vast connectivity, Familiar software Disadvantages: Back cover is slightly difficult to remove, could do with more RAM
Whilst the HTC Touch HD may not be a household name like the iPhone, but in my opinion is defiantly a serious competitor. The best feature is it's 3.8 inch, WVGA screen- thats much bigger than the iPhone. This means you can watch videos and films the way they were intended. The camera 5MP camera is excellent and produces stunningly rich, vivid and warm shots. The video quality is also pretty good and you can upload them directly to YouTube. The huge ... ...paid for. You also get free software updates from HTC periodically. ...

Advantages: Stylish, feature rich, range of applications Disadvantages: Opera application crashes the phone quite often, scrolling takes some getting used to.
This phone was given to me as a gift by a friend. I must say that it's the best gift that I've received in a long time.
The phone itself looks just like the Apple iphone and many people have mistaken it for the iphone. Having used the iphone in the past, I must say that the Touch HD is a cut above. It has the same range of features as the iphone and is virtually the same size, shape and weight. What it has in addition is a favourable integration ... ...extension of your office work product generating capabilities. Whilst I wouldn't recommend trying to compose a MS Word document or staring too long at an Adobe Acrobat PDF, the Outlook application is really easy to use and the touch qwerty keypad or touch standard mobile keypad, depending on which you prefer, provides great flexibility and usability in generating emails. Synchonising to your exchange server is also very straightforward and very reliable.
