Review of HTC TyTN II
Advantages: Super fast Wifi and GPS Navigator Disadvantages: Screen Freezes occassionally
This phone is operated by Windows Mobile 6 professional and includes MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc). It has a built in Wifi feature for on the go internet and a built in GPS receiver. It includes a watered down version of tom tom navigator but there are a huge range of GPS applications to download available including tonnes of freeware programmes.
The slide feature automatically switches the display view from vertical ... ...layed out for ease of use whilst typing.
The camera spec is 3.0 Mega Pixels and the front camera is VGA (thought still OK quality).
It comes with a very sturdy fabric belt case and a screen protector so be assured that it will survive against ware and tare for a long time. This phone is very robust so even after its dropped accidentally, its very unlikely you'll see any scratches.
The battery life after a full charge is considerabally better than ...
Advantages: Great GPS, intuitive software, good camera Disadvantages: poor battery performance, digital zoom isn't great, quite a bulky device
I have had this phone for a few weeks now. I am overall impressed with it. This phone offers great connectivity it has on-board GPS, IRDA, Bluetooth, 3g and WiFi.
The phone has some excellent applications such as a program which you can scan buisiness cards using the camera and the software automatically translates the image into contact information that can be stored into your phone book.
I installed TomTom Go 6 and the GPS is the best I have ... ...old TomTom Go. It also updates your location when you first launch the software very quickly.
The Windows Mobile 6 OS is quite simple to use and is complimented with HTC's home screen.
The 3mp camera is good however the digital zoom is not the best.
The only major flaw with this device is the battery life when using the phone, it is hard to give you an estimate of the actual time of it as it is dependant on what you are doing with the device.

Advantages: Does everything you need Disadvantages: Frustrates with slow responsiveness to key presses etc..
There are plenty of thorough reviews on this 'phone which I won't try to better but I can add to those my observations and opinions to help inform your decisions.
Pros: The swiss-army penknife of mobile phones, built in GPS that works, microSD cards, good screen (even on low brightness), access to software. Robust construction and free screen cover.
Cons: the touchscreen system gives poor feedback with lots of delays and typos. The phone is weak, ...

...around on a table. The HTC unit has a slightly rubberised back, which doesn't slide and is easier to hold.
Also, synchronisation with WM6 and ActiveSync 4.5 is awkward and takes a lot of coaxing.
Also, don't use the provided version of Sprite Backup, it'll duplicate files on your machine and if you have 6000-odd PIM items, you'll get a 30 Mb pim.vol file that when duplicated will grind the machine to a halt. Use version 6, available direct from ...

Quick review of HTC TyTN II
I have had the Kaiser for 2 weeks now and i not overly impressed with the upgrade, slight improvements to the hermes such as LEDs on the keyboard to let you know if it is on caps/function lock. problem is it has GPS but it is very slow I was standing in on regents street London and it couldn't find a signal, and whilst GPS is on the battery will only last a very short time.
Windows 6 pro is very sloppy and crashes frequently i often find that the phone needs soft resetting.
Hopefully there will be some updates to tighten up the OS ...

Advantages: Great multifunction phone for showing off. Disadvantages: Battery life is a bit short and can be difficult to navigate
I have had this phone for nearly 14 months so it is nearly coming to the end of its contract. It is quite bulky but then it has a lot built in to it. If you love technology and love showing of your new gadget then this is the phone for you. The sideways slide is very good and very easy for texting. But if you want to show of then the touch screen makes it even better. It uses Windows mobile but you can install different operating systems if you want ... ...(High Tech Computing), It is basically just a little computer. Because of this you can add loads of cool programs which can do almost anything. It has great Wi-Fi so it can access the internet anywhere there is an access point. For me the is a brilliant phone just for showing of and doing anything on. There are a few problem thought(nothing is perfect). Firstly because of the touchscreen it does not have a long battery life while using it. But it ...
