Advantages: Heavenly taste, for adults only Disadvantages: Expensive, not good for dieters, for adults only
‘A tub of frozen Baileys’ is a very good description of this ice-cream, and being a ‘Baileys’ girl and lover of ice-cream; what more could a girl ask for?! (No suggestions required thank you!) My favourite alcoholic drink mixed with the smoothest, creamiest ice-cream; absolutely gorgeous. I finally took the plunge and tried this for the first time a few weeks ago, and although I’ve had ‘one or two’ in the meantime, here I sit with yet another tub ... ...>>>Description<<<
As soon as you open the lid and remove the plastic seal, the instantly recognisable ‘Baileys’ aroma leaps up your nostrils, tempting you to plunge your spoon in, (and I don’t need telling twice!) The ice-cream itself is creamy beige in colour, almost like a milky coffee (a lot like the Baileys drink). The ice-cream has a very smooth, creamy texture, due in no small part, to the rich fresh cream and skimmed milk used to make it. ...

Advantages: Mmmmm! Melts in your mouth, tastes like the real thing, Disadvantages: Doesn't last long enough, bad for your waistline
For my husbands birthday recently, I decided to prepare a romantic meal at home. Having young children makes it difficult to go out for the night, so this seemed the perfect compromise.
With the main course simmering away gently and my meringue mixture cooking in the oven in preparation of my passionfruit pavlova, I poured myself a glass of wine and took it through to the living room.
The kids were tucked up in bed and hubby was on his way home ... ...my feet up. Somehow I got caught up in the action of Eastenders and forgot all about my pavlova. I could smell a sickly, sweet burning smell so jumped up and ran into the kitchen. @#!? My pudding was ruined. What was I going to do now? I searched the cupboards for inspiration, but the clock was ticking. Not enough time. So, ice-cream it had to be. I remembered a few weeks ago I had purchased a tub of Haagen Daaz Bailey's ice-cream, but had totally ...

When I titled the op "My favourite Ice Cream" I was not lying. I just love Baileys and eating Haagen Dazs Baileys ice cream is like drinking the real thing. I like to sit down in the evening with the tub and gorge myself while watching some real good film. PACKAGING
Do I really need to tell you? I think everybody must have heard of Haagen Dazs ice creams. But for those who have not - it comes in a 500 ml cylindral gold and burgundy tub with a Baileys ... ...LASTS
If you like Baileys you will love it. It smells like and taste exactely like it. Just frozen. The texture is creamy and smooth. The colour is of Baileys. If you grab a well frozen tub and a spoon and slowly melt it on your palet it will actually last for a good while. I find that it lasts longer if you eat it from the tub, it seems to melt too fast in a bowl. That is why I usually put my hubby's half in a bowl as he likes it more melted and ...

For the last few months I've been on a bit of an exercise fad to shed the few pounds I put on doing not very much during the summer. Cutting out the fatty stuff and getting my body moving again, I had been doing fairly well until today that is.
I've always loved ice cream, who doesn't and you don't get much better than Haagen Daaz and Haagen Daz ice cream that is buy one get one free to be precise. Two tubs of divine heaven for £3.79. My will power ... ...and Toffee Creme variety was my choice. So after rushing home, I was in the kitchen with a spoon in my hand before I had took my jacket off. I think I'll try the Bailey's one I said to myself.
Now not really being a Baileys lover I wasn't sure if I would actually like it, however after only one mouthful I knew I would and continued to scoff the tub in 15mins. Shocking I know.
So what does it taste like? Well it's creamy extremely creamy, mouth ...

Advantages: Haagen Dazs Baileys Ice Cream = momentary heaven Disadvantages: momentary heaven = eating a whole tub of ice cream in under 10 minutes
As I sit here writing about this little piece of heaven that is Baileys flavour Haagen Dazs ice cream I feel it only proper to be eating it at the same time, all in the name of a good opinion of course! (ahem). This ice cream is without a doubt, the best I have ever tasted, with no exceptions, and if you're not very careful you could end up spending a fortune on this tasty little morsel. Its about £3.89 a pop, but if you're very lucky you might find ... ...This was my main motivation for buying this ice cream in the first place (that and my mild alcoholism). Also its not particularly common and you may have to go on a bit of a hunt to find it. I had never even heard of it until it came in as a BOGOF offer at my work. At almost £4.00 a go I can understand why many people would not buy this, and its definitely not one to share with the whole family. You only have to have one spoonful to realise that. ...

Advantages: fantastic taste, creamy and luxurious Disadvantages: pricey and moreish, not good for the diet!
i discovered baileys irish cream ice ceam a few years ago, whilst eating at a friends house. i had never had it before and didnt know what to expect, but i like baileys and although at the time it seemed like an odd combination, i thought i would give it a try. As soon as the spoon went in my mouth, i was on my way to heaven! the ice cream slowly melts in the mouth and out floods the luxurious flavour of baileys irish cream, it doesnt at all taste ... ...aching to eat it!
it goes very well with some chocolate sauce or wafers and is very moreish even on it own straight from the tub. since my initial experience ive been buying and eating an unhealthily large amount of this ice cream, and i never get tired of the flavour. if you can bare to share it, it goes down well with guests who always want more!
the tub, although not the most atractive, is quite sturdy and has a lid that is easily replaced if ...

Advantages: It tastes like heaven Disadvantages: Unhealthy (but who cares - it's icecream, what do you expect?)
This is the taste-bud equivalent of of being drenched in sunbeams whilst sitting on a cloud. This icecream is pure and utter heaven. Seriously. For added decadence eat it sitting in a hot bath with fragrant oil and candles - make sure the icecream is really really frozen otherwise it melts too quickly (I know real connossieurs will cringe).
This is definitely a grown up treat and one to be enjoyed solo - remember this if anyone asks you for a taste. ... ...100% selfish. Tell your partner/girlfriend/boyriend/husband/wife/son/daughter/everyone (delete as applicable) to buy their own.
Now comes the tricky part. What does it taste like? Umm....well...Bailey's actually.
It's smooth - no nasty bits of anything to get in the way - and sweet. It tastes of alcohol but actually there's very little real Bailey's in it. The key to enjoying this is to banish all thoughts of guilt and just jump right on in and ...

This ice-cream is just lovely and it makes a great special treat.
The flavour of the baileys is very subtle and combines well with the creamy flavour. It should be eaten alone and enjoyed slowly! There isn't enough Baileys in the ice-cream to have any alcoholic effect which might be a good or a bad thing depending how you view it. it smells yummy and doesn't leave a nasty after tatse.
It isn's too sweet to taste which is why I love this but it ... ...just to have a little bit at a time. It is also pretty expensive at about £4 for a tub in the supermarket. You can also buy in in the Haagen Dazs cafe but expect to pay a small fortune. £2 for a small tub. Haagen Dazs do loads of other great ice-creams including pralines and cream and srawberry cheesecake, just as delicious as the Baileys flavour and definitely worth checking out. ...

Advantages: Unusual, superb flavour Disadvantages: Hard to find!
I've never really liked Ice Cream much, (and to be honest it doesn't like me much either). It has always been too bland, too rich, too sickly sweet. However, all that changed when I tasted Haagen Dazs Bailey's Ice Cream.
For a long time a fan of Bailey's liqueur, especially in my coffee on cold winter nights, the chance to sample it in ice cream was too good to resist. It is delicious!
The ice cream contains real Bailey's, not just flavouring, ... ...fake vanilla, no synthetic strawberry or not-real chocolate, but genuine liqueur. Though hard to find, the individual mini pots are just right for a quick refresher in the summer, and the big pots are great to store in the fridge and bring out when watching a favourite video.
The flavour is superb, the texture firm and fresh, and is appropriately a lovely coffee colour. It's definitley too good to share! ...

Advantages: Tastes quite like Baileys!! Disadvantages: Loses it's flavour after a while
I'm not really sure why it is recommended by 100% of authors beacuse it really isn't that special. How strange that not one person doesn't recommend it. Speaking of which, I'm being quite the hypocrite. Then again, I probably wouldn't buy it again. I myself am a huge Bailey's fan so perhaps it came as a bit of a disappointment.
As I ate on, I discovered that the flavour became quite monotonous. It started losing it's flavour and needed some other ... ...Quite expensive too for an ice-cream that isn't all together that special...I guess it's worth trying, but only worth eating in small amounts. The flavour isn't true to it's title, but it's still pleasant and adds a bit of class to desserts. Not recommended for eating on its own, but as a side dish to a dessert. ...

Advantages: Tastes great, soft and creamy Disadvantages: the price, not for dieters
Haagen daiz Baileys ice cream just happens to be my favourite ice cream because it is rich in flavour and is worth every penny.
The first time i ever had Baileys ice cream i went to the cinema to see a film and they just happened to have a haagen daiz ice cream parlor.
I thought i would try something different as all the flavours that they had where your average haagen diaz flavour such as vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream etc....
Then i saw ... ...was Baileys ice cream so i decided to take a chance and spend quite a bit of money on this unheared of ice cream.
I paid around £2.16 fo my Baileys ice cream.
It tasted great and tasted exactly like the real baileys irish cream but frozen.
I liked it so much i had to go back for another one.
i recommend it to anyone who likes the alcoholic drink baileys. ...
