...you my opinion of the Halifax Websaver.
What is it?
~~~~~~~~~~~
The Halifax websaver is an online based savings account from (funnily enough) the Halifax.
What are it's features?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The websaver has many interesting features. Firstly you can give yourself different "pots" which you can name individually. This is basically like having several different accounts, but named which makes it more personal. How about "Bills Bread ... ...amounts of years and the Halifax offers 3 month, 6 month, 1 year, 2 year, 3 year, 4 year and 5 year bonds. The rates for the bonds are quite good too (See rates)

How fast is it?

I joined Halifax Online last year and have had no problems with it. I am able to access my current account details 24 hours a day and every time I have tried to access the service it has been successful - I have never known the service to be down.

Anyway, back to Halifax Online - you can view an up-to-date statement, and I mean UP TO DATE - if you go to a cash machine and take out some money it appears immediately on your transaction list. You can view and delete your direct debits, set up bill payments, pay bills, transfer money between accounts - basically pretty much everything you can do on ...
