*Summary*
Microsoft have done extremely well with this console. Upon realizing that Halo 3 was going to be the same killer app (see first line) that the first Halo was for the orginal xbox they combined that foresight with the realization that they needed to both bridge the gap between 20g non-HDMI premium & the expensive HDMI ready 120g Elite.
The Halo console includes Halo branding and customised design with the Elite's HDMI port ... ...of 360s rushed out by microsoft to beat Sony & Nintendo to the current gen console release mostly suffer from the Red Ring of Death, but the Halo 3 edition is less likely to suffer from this as it was released at a later time.

Advantages: nice graphics when it is working. Disadvantages: It will overheat and you will be on your own after spending a lot of money.

Your problem will occur after your warranty is up and Microshaft will charge you $150.00 to fix your console ... the one that should have been working. You will contavt Microshaft Xbox online support, they will be brain dead after you describe your problem. After 4 or 5 email exchanges, they will suggest you contact Microshat Xbox customer support by phone. You will speak ... ...problem and your unhappiness with the product, their dead brains will suggest you send it to Microshaft for $150.00 repair and they will tell you that you are lucky that shipping is included. That is the Microshaft way. They'll gladly take your money and give you a shabby product that is full of defects. If you like being scammed and duped, then buy this Microshaft product. ...
