...PalmOS device currently available. Handspring seem to have shot themselves in the foot here. Their unique selling point for the Visor range is it's expansion potential via the Springboard slot. Unfortunately, there's no space in the Edge for a slot, so you have to clip-on a Springboard adapter (provided), which spoils the sleek lines of the unit, making it look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame (should that be Notre Palm?). The Visor Edge is probably the best of the classic PalmOS machines. OS 3.5H2 isn't exactly leading Edge (*cough*), but if you want a Palm for the sake of the device itself, you're in for a treat. The case is metal, and the flip cover encloses the screen, so hardly any pocket goop gets in there. The stylus is metal, with a plastic tip, and has a nice weight in the hand like a good pen. When I first bought this PDA I thought i could only put afew games on, and use afew tools, but I was *amazed* at how much this could actually do.
