Advantages: Nice, crisp picture and good price (if you shop around) Disadvantages: It is large (well it's a 17" screen) so make sure you have the space
...but I eventually picked the Hansol 710P from the vast selection on offer.
As far as the particular site that I bought it from, there wasn’t much to choose between jungle.com and dabs.com for price in the end. I picked dabs.com as they were slightly cheaper (at £159.79) and had the quickest delivery time (so they claimed anyway). The nearest comparative monitor I could find to the 710P was a full £35 more for a similar specification at that ... ...I choose it? Well, the Hansol 710P monitor gives a high resolution and refresh rate, which was the most important area I considered after screening (what a BAD pun I’m so sorry) out other models for price. The dot pitch of 0.26mm is also a good factor at this level. These features together provide a crisp picture, even at the maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200.
According to the manufacturers it has been specifically designed for detailed applications ...

Advantages: High resolution, seems fairly durable Disadvantages: Casing is rather large
This monitor came with a computer that I bought back in September 1999 . It has a 17 inch tube and is capable of resolutions up to 1600x1200 pixels - higher than most monitors can manage. Higher resolutions are good because it means you get more pixels, so can fit more windows on your screen at once. The monitor has a VGA connector (the same as most monitors) and comes with a swivelly base so that it can be rotated and tilted up or down with ease.
... ...and it has travelled about 3000 miles in total in a car boot (travelling with me to uni and back three times a year) and still works as well as it did when I bought it, the picture hasn't degraded at all so I guess it must be fairly robust.
The monitor has an OSD (On Screen Display) for adjusting the settings. The settings available are:
Brightness - controls how light or dark the picture is
Contrast - controls how much difference there is between ...

Advantages: Good resolution, good refresh rates Disadvantages: Poor visual quality, too big
I brought a Hansol 710P about 6 months ago from Dabs Direct. I was looking for a cheap monitor that produced sharp images, and the Hansol seemed the best choice because of good reviews people gave it.
The Hansol does have its strong points - its resolution of up to 1600 by 1200 is unmatched inthe price range, and its refresh rates are equally impressive, giving it a nice bright image. Its on screen display was adequate, though I don't think this ... ...had problems with the monitor when it arrived though. There was a slight 'ghosting' effect to the right of images on the screen, which was particularly visible when displaying text, even at a resolution of 1024 by 768. I returned the first monitor, and received another, but it had the same problem, and the projected image on the new one seemed to 'vibrate' at times. This time I asked for a refund, and brought the Samsung 750s instead (which I recommend ...

Advantages: Good specifications for price Disadvantages: Questionable build quality
I purchased the Hansol 710p monitor about 7 months ago, i primarily chose this monitor becasuse it was a good 17" monitor with lots of features (high refresh rate and good reseloutions) and when i got it i wasn't dssapointed. It isn't as good picture quality as my previous 15" Sony trinitron monitor but it isn't far off and it is far bigger and thats what counts :)
It has an on screen display with more features than US states and is controlled by ... ...the spec sheet at the Hansol website you'll see that it has all the features of a £200 monitor all at a lower cost. It's colour sensitivity is good and it's design is standard
The one quiblle i do have with this monitor is it's questionable build quality, after about 1 month it intermittently started making high pitched noises for about 2 weeks then stopped, now it has started again and it gives you a real headache even on turning the monitor off ...

...an affordable price tag. The Hansol 710P suits my needs perfectly.
Trying to find a 17" monitor with a sharp 0.26mm dot pitch is a conquest alone, but to my surprise the 710P offered this and a superb refresh rate of up to 85Hz. This results in flicker free performance which is excellent for people who stare at a monitor for lengthy spells.
Perhaps the best aspect of this monitor is the units depth, which is surprisingly small for a 17" monitor, ...

Advantages: Very competively priced. Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
...before finally opting for the Hansol 710P. The price seems too good to be true but I've had my Hansol for nearly six months without the slightest bit of a problem with it - although if I had the monitor comes with a 3 year onsite warranty. I paid £160 for mine and I would consider it to be the best money I've ever spent. The display is very clear, the colours vibrant and the supported refresh rates mean that there is no perceptible flicker at 800x600. ...

Advantages: Good Quality, Inexpensive and Reliable Disadvantages: Who's Hansol?
I sell Hansol monitors in a shop that shifts about 1,000 of them a year. We never hear anything about them again. That leads me to believe that they are very reliable and good quality or that the manufacturer has a very good backup service. I suspect both. If this were not the case I would be the first to know.
Why should you trust me? Read my review on IPC Topnote notebook computers to see what I write about products that are not good.
Buy a Hansol. ...

Advantages: Good all round monitor Disadvantages: not very good OSD
The Hansol 701p is a budget monitor and though i would be the first to say there is better out there there aint at this price and it offeres both a high refresh rate and a higher rezolution that is not found in models around the same price it also has a clear and bright display and does not suffer as much as other budget monitors with the display the only bad point about the beast in the on screen display (OSD)has to be one of the worst layed out ... ...only bad point about this monitor
So if you are looking for a good all round monitor but dont want to spend the next month doing over time to pay for it then this is a good choice for you to make and with its three years onsite you cant go wrong ...

Advantages: Price Disadvantages: 1600 x 1200 @75Hz
The Hansol 710P monitor that I have just purchased is the best ever and I would recommend it to anyone for these reasons: Excellent clear crisp colours, easy installation (plug and play), even a 1.44Mb floppy disk is supplied with the required driver’s for Windows 95/98/2000. The on screen adjustment menu is also the best I have seen to date very easy to use to obtain the required screen adjustments, the images are clear and sharp with the added ...
