WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAoaM !!!

Advantages: Fruity, delicious + no artificial colours.
Disadvantages: Poor availibility of the whole ' MAOAM stripes' range + they contain gelatine !!!

...some pretty major complaints: - Haribo advertise the entirety of the MAOAM stripes range, however the availability of any variety other than the ‘pre-pack bag’; seems to be non-existent. - The stripes flavours in the pre-pack bag are so very disproportionate; there are Orange and Lemon flavours in abundance and yet merely one or two of the Cherry flavour. (As the Cherry flavour was my favourite, I found this very disconcerting.) - There is no ...
...The biggest complaint of all for me was: discovering while writing this review, that the MAOAM stripes contain ‘gelatine’ (gelatine is made from the boiled bones, skins and tendons of animals) … being vegetarian this alarming information has just ended my beautiful relationship with these sweets! … ‘Ignorance WAS bliss’. Despite my complaints and my newly found resentment towards them (why oh why gelatine?): I thoroughly recommend these sweets wholeheartedly. ...

The lovely LITTLE chew bar

Advantages: Tastes good, no artificial colours
Disadvantages: bit too chewy

THE PACKAGING Haribo Maoam Stripes come in a big bag weighing about 150g; the coloured part of the bag is bright red, at the top Maoam is written in big bold lettering. There are big see through parts of this pack so that you can see the maoam stripes through the packet. Also on the packet are some cartoon pictures of various fruit like cherries and apples. When you open the packet each sweet is individually wrapped in a paper wrapper, the wrappers ...
...but these are made by Haribo so are of good quality, so I would say value for money is a bit better than average. THE VERDICT I would recommend these sweets without a second thought, they taste great, have no artificial colours, they are a good price and the smell divine, what more can I say - go out and try them. My only complaint is that they are a tiny bit too chewy, but that is only my personal opinion due to an unfortunate incident with a ...

Fun fresh and fruity!

Advantages: Fruity Flavour, different flavours
Disadvantages: Get a bit sickly

I had my first maoam stripe a year or so back now I think. And what first caught my eye was the size of the bag they came in. All I saw was a large bag full of what looked like mini chew bars. Then I noticed something else, the price! The whole bag was just 1 pound! (Sorry for spelling pound every time but my keyboard is messed up and so I no longer have a pound sign lol). So one day when my boyfriend at the time asked me if I wanted some sweets, ...
...had them he also got slightly addicted lol. The maoam strips come in a range of flavours. These are lemon, strawberry, orange, cherry and raspberry. You get a mixture of them all in each bag. Each strip is individually wrapped to keep them all fresh. Each wrapper is designed specifically to the flavour. They are colour co-ordinated. So lemon is yellow, strawberry is red and so on. Also, there is a cartoon character of the fruit on each wrapper. ...

Go mad for Maoam

Advantages: Fruity, refreashing and chewy
Disadvantages: Sugar isn't good for you

...is a chewy sweet that Haribo launched in the UK in 2001. I feel that it was strongly pushed to be a more healthy sweet as it contains no artifical colours. I'm sure you have all seen the adverts with the fruit flies (well humans dressed up strangley as them!) eating it as it contains real fruit juice. The Main Packaging: Is quite bright to catch childerns eyes. The main background is red with the Maoam logo in blue and white and stripes written ...
...and cartoon fruits. Each strip is wraped individually which means my friends always nick them! Each sweet has a little cartoon thing on and a cartoon fruit which represents the flavour, and the package of the also matches. The sweet it's self is actually white as it hs no artifical colours. They come in bags of 200g. This is a really good sweet as it is such good value for money and they seem to last for ages. Last year i found out my friend was ...

Maoam stripes - yum

Advantages: yummy , well packaged
Disadvantages: you'll be hiooked

Maoam stripes to be honest I think I have been living under a rock when it comes to this product! I only had one for the first time the other day when someone brought them to work, now I can see why they are Haribo's top selling product ! They are really juicy chewy mini bars that are handy for snacking out and about. There are a few different flavours you can tell what they are by the fruit characters on the front. My particular favourite is the ...
...are actually really amusing and provided myself and my work colleagues with a few giggles the other day! I think another thing that makes these little bars so popular is that there is not really A competitor out there, no one seems to have made a main stream copy - I am sure one of the supermarkets will eventually though, someone will want a share of that £10 million turnover. Though I have to say they will have to be good as the price on these babies ...

why i love maoum

Advantages: real fruit, yummy and mouth watering
Disadvantages: sometimes too chewy

Answer me one question- what is better than sweets that are made of real fruit and are extremely nice? Nothing. Because new sweets on the block maoum stripes are healthy, chewy, tangy and yummy. Why its taken so long for maoum to reach england when its already in holland, france and germany i dont know. But what i do know is that maoum stripes are incredably nice. What with cherry, strawberry, raspberry, lemon, orange and other flavours, maoum are ...
