Is it over yet?

AdvantagesGreat story, excellent narration, satisfying plot.

DisadvantagesToo long.

"...is the audio recording of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. As you may or may not know, Goblet of Fire in book form is HUGE. We're talking 600+ pages, and for a children's book this is pretty scary. The book may be put to better use as a door-stopper or burglar-stunner. As the BBC Cover To Cover series is in the habit, unsuprisingly, of producing unabridged recordings of books, Goblet of Fire consists of fourteen (yes, FOURTEEN) double cassettes, ..." Read review

Hayy Potter Audio Review

AdvantagesGreat Voice, Simple

DisadvantagesSometimes monotone...

"Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, is the third book in the Harry Potter series (as if I had to tell you that). I've read the first book and seen the second movie, but I decided that I wanted to see what this phenomenon was all about for myself. As with the first book, I found Prisoner to be a thoroughly charming tale, filled with wonder, suspense, interesting writing and fun characters. It was a fitting sequel to the first two stories. First ..." Read review

Potter gold Review with images

AdvantagesGreat adaptation of the book

Disadvantageslots of tapes.

"...is the fourth of the Harry Potter books and sees Harry in his fourth year at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. A chilling begining recalls the family background to the evil Lord Voldemort (don't say his name!) and his family's suspicious murder. It is also the year in which Britain is hosting the quidditch world cup and the final is Bulgaria vs. Ireland, luckily the Weasley family have tickets to go but will they live to regret this ..." Quick review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Audio Book) - J.K. Rowling, Stephen Fry (Narrator)

"I wouldn't usually buy an audio book, but heard this one and decided to buy. Stephen Fry's voice works perfectly and brings the story to life. Perfect for busy people asit can be listened to in a car (I have a tape player) or on the go. Cd would perhaps be better though as there are quite a few tapes to play with!!

Goblet of Fire Audio Cassette

AdvantagesComplete and Unabridged Version of Harrys fourth year at Hogwarts

DisadvantagesCan be quite scary to younger children

"...the fourth book in the Harry Potter series. Stephen Fry makes a wonderful narrator and really brings the characters to life. The audio book is a wonderful alternative to those with a busy life, as the Goblet of Fire is quite long, so for those who don't have time to sit down and read, this plays nicely while you crack on with your other chores/activities. I really like that is complete and unabridged as I hate to think I am missing out on something. As ..." Read review

A Magical Story

AdvantagesRelaxing. Great story. Immersive

DisadvantagesFairly long for a young person.

"...those that don't know, the Harry Potter books follow the life of a young wizard at wizard school. These stories were originally intended for children but are also loved by adults too. This is my favourite Harry Potter book because it is were the series takes a turn towards really dark and dangerous times. It begins with Harry and friends heading off to watch the Quidditch (wizard sport) World Cup and almost immediately the action begins with the ..." Read review
