Advantages: +good graphics +overall good fun +makes good use of sixaxis Disadvantages: -characters can look odd when speaking
The first thing that will strike you about this game is how good the graphics are, the hogwarts grounds are recreated well and the settings and the characters all look at first. However when the characters speak they can look a bit stupid as the lip synching is out. The game starts off with a basic tutorial mission, you learn a few spells and the basics. Then you get to go around and do what you like when you get to hogwarts, you can go and find ... ...join you in the room of requirement, these can often come with sub quests. You can also do certain quests for teachers and the games virtually open ended. theres no need to complete the main parts, you can just go round having fun.
There are loads of secrets around hogwarts, and there is a kind of reward system, you fix vases/pots or place a picture on the wall (and things like that) and you gain points, with enough points your spells become more ...

Advantages: Very atmospheric, nice control method Disadvantages: You need to be into Harry Potter
...really getting into the whole Harry Potter thing, yes, shame on me! For some strange reason, when EA released 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' for the Sony PS3, I was drawn to it like a magnet and just had to take a look.
Previous incarnations of the Harry Potter games seemed to lack something in the magic department, they just seemed to try and do too much magic. In this latest offering EA have nailed it right on the head, the atmosphere ... ...you are right there with Harry and the gang in Hogwarts. This feeling is mainly due to the superb graphics and textures that are very detailed and accurate.
To keep the game moving along you have to complete over 30 tasks, learning spells along the way. You also unlock discovery points which in turn make your spells even more powerful. This allows you to unlock even more secrets and certainly kept my interest locked in. There are plenty of battles ...
