I've eaten at our local Harvester on many occasions (and for many occasions - birthdays, fathers days etc) and it does exactly what's promised. It's always pretty busy, which is a good sign, and people do seem to go back again and again. So sometimes, if you've not booked ahead, there can be a wait for a table (I've experienced anything from a few minutes to an hour and a half) but the staff take your name and invite you to wait in the bar area ...
...I most like about the Harvester is that everybody gets a free trip to the salad bar. This, for me, is the main reason that I keep going back. It encourages you to be healthy, but also means that perhaps you can save a few pennies by skipping a starter and opting for a salad as a replacement.
