We bought the Healthbeds Memory Flex mattress (king-size version) as a replacement for an old sprung mattress. We'd been trying out some Tempur mattresses in shops, and liked them but found we sank into them a little too much for our likings. We found a Which report from I think Oct 06 (http://www.mattressmaster.com/images/HealthBeds%20Which%20Report.pdf) where this mattress came out as the best in test, and that it was slightly firmer than the Tempur ... ...mattress itself is several cm of memory foam on top of a layer of normal foam, all wrapped in a zip-on mattress protector (a high-tech breathable fabric related to Coolmax I think). We have had it for 4 weeks now. My selection in the compulsory box for Durability is Average but I really can't comment in this short time period.

Advantages: Absolute bliss to lie on Disadvantages: Don't want to get up in the morning!
...tests on mattresses, and the Healthbeds Memoryflex has won it more than once. In face I contacted Healthbeds via their website, and they sent me a copy of the Which? report (well, you would wouldn't you?!) and that helped us take the plunge. So once I'd found the double mattress via Quidco for £380, I thought it was worth a gamble - and it has been. This is the comfiest mattress I've ever slept on, without doubt. I can sleep through the night now, ... ...feels soft yet supportive, cosy but not too warm. All the bad points I've read about memory foam just do not apply to this one! We've had it for a couple of months now, and it's still bliss! We love it, and completely recommend it, without reservation. Just hunt around for a bargain price - as I say at the moment it's KD Beds via Quidco for the cashback, but this'll change, so do your own research into prices, and enjoy. ...
