I first tried this pizza during my poorer student days when I noticed it for buy one get one free. I'm a pizza fan, I'm a baked beans fan, so why not try it and save a few pennies. It seemed to me that Heinz (one of the biggest food companies in the world - including of all things baby food in the US) was trying to branch out, however they didn't get to their global positioning without doing something right so this was a fairly safe bet. I'm really glad I did, the pizza is completely different from anything on the market and really tastes nice. The fact that the tomateo used on the pizza is ... more

My family are great lovers of pizza but I find that cheese and tomato can be very boring sometimes. My children do not eat much meat and nor do I so we we are always looking for new varietys that are meat free. Whilst browsing the freezers at my local supermarket recently I came across Heinz Baked Bean Pizzas. We all absolutlely love Baked Beans so I couldn't wait to get it home and try it out. They cost around £1.39 so very reasonably priced. The pizza is roughly 9'' in diameter and is fairly thick. The dough is lovely and crisp but is not at all dry like some pizzas can be. The sauce tastes ... more

When I first heard that there was such a thing as a baked bean pizza I've got to admit that my first thought was 'YUK!' But I was wrong - these pizzas are surprisingly nice! You can get baked beans with cheese variety or a baked beans with sausage variety, which i think is the nicest one of the two. You can get a full size one, which is around the same sort of size as most frozen pizzas on the market, and they also do a mini version, which is slightly bigger than some of the mini pizzas available, and you get two in a box. The packaging is pretty average, just a green box with the baked beans ... more

Heins is trusted + well known, and this pizza lives up to the heinz standards. it tastes, smelly and looks nice, and nobody should be dissappointed when purchasing this product, because it satisfied my tastebuds! The Beans Are Delicious, and taste ever so nice with the melted cheesy goodness! i would definately put this in my top 5 pizzas i have ever tasted, and probably will! spot on! i wasnt even going to purchase this pizza until a friend has told me about the taste, and as i am very trusting to heinz products, because of the tasty beans and tomato sauce, especially, this pizza did not let ... more

Advantages Advantages great taste, value for money, ideal student food

    Disadvantages Disadvantages messy to eat

The Heinz Baked Bean pizza is probably one of the greatest food combinations ever invented, and I am serious. This probably is a combination of two of the most popular goods eaten in the Uk, beans and pizza. As its made by Heinz it is reassuring to buy a product made by a recognisable and good quality brand. It is oven cook only, and it easy to cook in a standard oven and takes about 20 minutes, so it is a fairly standard cooking time! Taste wise this is great, its somewhere between a proper pizza and beans on toast! Its not as tomato-y as regular pizza but the beans on top and the tons of ... more

if your a fan of beans, cheese and tomatoes mixed together then this is perfect for you. as i took it out of the oven i could smell the aroma of melting cheese, tomatoe and beans. the tomatoe at the bottom of the pizza was gorgeous it was so thick and tomatoey. the cheese what was in the middle of the pizza was so gooey and so yummy that it tasted like a proper italian pizza. the beans where at the top and you could tell straight away that they were heinz beans because of there thickness. the base was absolutly yummy it was about half an inch thick and so spongey. i would give it a try any day ... more

Advantages Advantages Two fantastic foods in one!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Perphaps lacking in the cheese area!!

This has to be the best thing since beans on toast! What a good idea, why didnt i think of this myself! Simply take the two best foods there are and stick them together, Genius! It makes the most suprisingly good combination! who would have thought?! Kids will love this pizza! It makes dinner so much fun and a bit different! Very tasty too! I would definately recommend this pizza to any true Baked Bean or Pizza fan! Just one word of advice, dont try to recreate this yourself as it can get a bit messy and your oven will be a nightmare to clean. Leave it to Heinz! The only negative thing that ... more
