Advantages: Very versatile. excellent colour printing, good price (£89) Disadvantages: Ponderous software install. Longevity question mark hanging over it
Suddenly, everything’s ‘coming up printers’ in the BNibbles’ household, and I’ve also updated what I thought of the HP C5180, the predecessor to my new HP C6380.
Having just written about my new Samsung laser printer, I guess it was only a matter of time before Argos, the God of Laminated Catalogues decreed that my '''other''' printer should pack up on me just when I was already having an 'expensive' month. My first 'all-in-one', an HP C5180 had ... ...first year in my possession until sadly it developed a fault that couldn't be cleared. A month later, after much to-ing and fro-ing with HP's Support Desk (was it still under warranty or wasn't it, the manufacturing date being yonks before the purchase date), I was delivered a 'refurbished' replacement (it being by now an obsolete model). Thus, with my warranty re-extended by a further 3 months, I was happy. Until, that is, weeks later I came to ...

Advantages: Stylish looks, excellent photo prints on full quality, wireless connectivity, easy to set up. Disadvantages: Under-saturated scans and banding on normal quality colour prints
Above Average all round all-in-one machine but suffers from under saturated scans and visible fine line banding in colour prints printed on normal quality settings.
Best Points:
Stylish looks, excellent photo prints on full quality, wireless connectivity, easy to set up.
Worst Points:
Under-saturated scans and banding on normal quality colour prints
I have only had this printer a short while but have had a chance to run it through it's paces. ... ...an All-in-one for around £100, my main requirements were: good quality prints, good quality scans and wireless connectivity. I had seen some Epson all in ones in shops which didn't look like they had the build quality of the comparible options from Canon and HP. In the end I chose the HP because they had a 10% offer on their own website which is still running until the end of Jan 2009. This printer was already reduced by £50 so a further 10% off ...

Quick review of Hewlett-Packard C6380 All-in-One
The C6380 does everything you need it to and is very easy to use.
As well as printing, scanning and photocopying, it can print images and text onto CDs and DVDs - a very useful feature. It also has pre-defined templates such as narrow and wide ruled, margined paper, graph paper etc (very handy for students!)
As an art student, I needed a printer that could deliver high quality photographs. As long as you use HP paper, the photographs are the best quality that I've seen so far from a domestic printer.
I would definately recommend the C6380 All-in-One. ...

Advantages: none Disadvantages: uses much to much ink
I would just like to point out that Packard bell, uses way too much ink if you need to use it a lot then works out too dear you are better off buying a new printer for what you would pay out for more ink to put into the packard bell brands.as when you buy a new printer it already has ink included so savesyou some money doing it that way, and the ink it does use is dear to buy. You are better off with buying Cannon brands as they do not use as much ... ...found with Packard bell is that after a while the black ink does not work at all, and had to buy a new printer, I tried the thinners that was recommended but they did not work, and I found out that I was not the only one with the same issues with the printer ink not working. ...
