I have owned the Hitachi DZ MV350E for about six months and I love it. It is very easy to use, compact, and has a simple menu system so that you can view what you've taken immediately. You can edit the disc on the camera and so save disc space, You can even arrange your clips into playlists for an impressive quickly made movie. If you have a DVD drive on your computer you can put the disc straight into your computer and save your MPEG or JPG files ... ...investing in DVD-RAM discs, you can record half an hour's footage per side, they are a bit expensive but you can use them over and over again which saves you money in the long run. You can also save still photos onto the disc or a memory card and picture quality is very good. You can also use an external microphone or the built in stereo mike. Another advantage is that the camera automatically records to free disc space so you never risk accidently ...

Overall, very good, well built and clean image. The 10x zoom is great. Both side of the disc can be use. The only problem is no external flash light which if want to shoot in the shady or dark area the image or video is very poor or all black-out. ...
