HOLLANDIA - from the Nether Regions

Advantages: Inexpensive
Disadvantages: Not very exciting

Hollandia is made by the Bavaria Brewery which, despite the name, isn't located high in the Alpine region of Germany, but much closer to sea-level in the North Brabant region of The Netherlands. It's been around since 1719 apparently, so the brewers should have perfected the product by now...donchathink? Want to know more about the brewery? Check their website. But all that matters not a jot when the mercury's rising and your hovering around with ...
...the beer... Hollandia pours to a pale, watery, straw-yellow colour under a billowing head of white foam that collapses before you can say 'poof!'. There's very little lace - no more than a wispy ring. The aroma doesn't exactly leap from the glass and dive up your nostril. Pass That Dutch

Advantages: Refreshing, pleasant
Disadvantages: Pricey

Immediately after pouring, Hollandia emits a fairly well presenced floral hop aroma. This is only ...

Recession beating price.

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: None

Just bought a four pack of this lager from ASDA. It was only 90p for the four 440ml cans. It has an alcohol content of 3% for the cold filtered variety but they have other products in the range including a 5% one. At the price i wasnt expecting it to be all that nice, it tastes like lager should. I yhave tried Morrisons own equivalent brand at the same price but only 2% and that lacks in taste. This lager is brewed in Holland and is brewed with ...
...pure yeast. It is brewed in the south of holland at the Holandia Brewery. The ingredients are listed in the following order water barley malt maltose hop. It is recomended to be served and stored cool. I always keep mine refrigerated and this way is gives it a refreshing taste and is cooling on a hot day. I would recommend it if you are after a premium quality lager beer at a respectable price. Their website is http://www.hollandiabeer.com/#/Homepage ...
