Wonderfully bright

Advantages: Smooth finish - colour depth
Disadvantages: cost

I have recently used Farrow and Ball for the first time in my living room, I was absolutely delighted when I discovered it only needed one coat and the paint went on like a dream. The person in the shop explained to me about the pigments they use to make their colours and it really does make the difference. I have painted some of the house in different, slightly less expensive paints and I really wish I could afford to do my whole house in F&B. I ...

Farrow & Ball, excellent paint in a fantastic range of colours

Advantages: quality of product ,range of colours,excellent coverage, ideal for period properties
Disadvantages: having to order some colours or finishes and wait for up to a week for it to arrive instore

...paint stockist nearby or in Homebase stores. The only downside is that a lot of Homebase stores don't stock the full colour range and you have to order it in advance, it takes about a week to arrive which is really annoying if you need some at the last minute because you've run out! ...
