4 Stars My Sweet Honey.. Review with images 05/02/2013

Advantages Advantages nice smell, cleanses and refreshes, quality, creamy lather

Disadvantages Disadvantages price, leaves my hands feeling weird

I don't normally buy blocks of soap as I favour liquid soap and liquid shower washes. I was however, pleased to receive two Lush gift sets at Christmas and included in one set was a star shaped block of 'Honey I Washed The Kids'. The Soap 'To bee, or not to bee' Lush do not test their products on animals and try to use many natural ingredients. This particular soap is popular with Lush customers and has been around for quite some time. It is free from preservatives and is vegetarian friendly. If you are a fan of this soap, you may also like 'Honey Bee Bath Bomb' as this has the same ... more

Advantages Advantages smells lovely, leaves skin soft, natural, gentle

Disadvantages Disadvantages not a huge amount of lather, expensive, smell is quite subtle when on the skin

There are some Lush products that are only around for a relatively short time before they're discontinued, and there are some that are only available at certain times of the year- such as Christmas. And then there are the ones that seem to have been around forever - the iconic Lush products that never seem to go out of fashion. Honey I washed the kids soap is one such product. So why I had not tried it before, I have no idea. Feeling a bit depressed a few weeks ago, I headed to Lush with the intention of buying a couple of products to cheer myself up (of course you can never go into Lush and ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, good lather, wonderful scent, works well, skin feels lovely.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

I suffer from eczema on my feet, and my sister knows this bothers me a lot, and as one of my Christmas presents I received a rather generous slab of this soap. I received a cake style slice (thinner at the bottom than the top) which was wonderful as I got lots of the honeycomb that tops this soap. This soap, like all others I have ever had from Lush, comes provided in a wax paper kind of packaging. There is a simple label on there describing the item and the ingredients. This is all very simple and this really just describe Lush. They offer wonderful products that do not have many unnecessary ... more

Honey I Washed the Kids Soap from Lush Wow, I have found my perfect smell and it has been created in the form of this special bar of soap from the infamous Lush Fresh cosmetics Company. I have only fairly recently tried this bar as I received it as a present for Christmas but since being given a bar as a gift I have gone out myself and purchased several more since. It doesn’t seem to last long in my bathroom due to the fact I want to wash my entire body in it and I don’t even mind my boyfriend using it as he then smell so delicious that I want to gobble him all up! A 100-gram bar of Honey I ... more

Advantages Advantages That gorgeous, gorgeous smell!

Disadvantages Disadvantages The smell doesn't linger enough on the skin, and it doesn't leave skin very soft

Oh honey! I almost never use soap - I prefer shower gels in the shower and liquid handwash by the sink. I also rarely shop in Lush. So the fact I have bought this soap four or five times tells you a lot about how much I like it! The thing I adore about this soap is the fragrance. The smell is sweet, sweet toffee with a touch of honey, and it is so unusual that I just love it. As with all Lush soaps you buy this by the chunk, and it costs £3.25 per 100g. It isn't the cheapest soap out there, but this is to be expected from Lush sadly! The soap is a creamy fudge colour and the piece I currently ... more

I have recently turned into a Lush addict. For those who don't know what Lush is, it is a store that sells bath and body items that are organic, nice smelling and almost all vegan. I am not a vegan myself but i do love to try new things and pamper myself. I have recently gained eczema for some reason and it has spread all over my body, yeah i know, it sucks :( I was told I could only use stuff for sensitive skin till it got a bit better along with many creams from the drs, however because Lush sells all natural goods, I thought I'd give them a try. Without a doubt, one of their most popular ... more
