Advantages: fun tongue twisting rhymes
Disadvantages: having your 3 year old in stitches when you can't say them correctly

...same time I requested that Hop on Pop could be added as this is my favourite Dr Seuss book. I gave quite a bit of background knowledge in my other Seuss review on the man himself so I won't go over it again and if you are interested in his beginnings then you can have a look at the ABC review. Hop on pop is a fantastic book designed to help to teach children the sounds associated with reading wholst at the same time making learning fun. The pictures in this book are great and very amusing, my favourite has got to be the picture of fish sitting in a tree like you would expect a bird to be. Disadvantages: Get ready for lots of rhymming :)

...great, you start of with Hop on Pop (And great pictures of them hopping on pop - get ready for your toddler to jump on you though!!) My daughter started rhymming other words great for early vocabulary although some of the words were top, bop, mop, others were zop, dop, kop - budding Dr seuss in the making!!
