“Chilled Out”

Good size, good capacity, good quality

Sticky doors, water under salad trays

We have had this fridge freezer since we moved into our house about six years ago and it has never caused us any problems at all. I remember the day we bought it and I felt really grown up buying a fridge freezer (more so than when I bought a house, when I got a proper job and when I got married...

Whilst this fridge was not one that I had chosen as it was given to us by my husbands parents when they re modelled their kitchen and decided to change their fridges, I was please to receive it and I am very pleased with it's performance and would recommend it. One problem of inheriting this...

Mrs B and I bought this Fridge/Freezer when we moved house. We had always had a fridge and a freezer separately but thought we would save space by having one combined. Why we chose this When we went into the shop there were lots of options to choose from and Mrs B and I were a little baffled. We...

Spacious and quiet.

The pointless ice trays.

I recently moved in my first home and had to buy a Fridge Freezer for the first time. We knew the type we wanted, a free standing Fridge Freezer with a good sized freezer, preferably costing less than £300. It did prove quite difficult finding one in that price range that had a good sized freezer...

Terribe design of ice cube trays

Hotpoint RSA52S Fridge Freezer After my fridge recently gave up the ghost, I decided after some homework that I would 'go the whole hog' and get a fridge freezer. I made this decision after finding out that the price between a larder fridge and a fridge freezer was only around and extra £25 and...

I ordered my Hotpoint Fridge Freezer shortly after moving into my apartment purchasing at the retail price of £240. I had a small space in my kitchen to fit the unit and the fridge freezers dimensions of 545x580mm I had no problems in installing the unit. The unit measures up at 1740mm tall and...

ice cubes sometimes hard to get out

When I moved into my house, there was a fridge/freezer already in the kitchen and came included with the house. At first I thought this was great as it saved me having to shop for a fridge soon after moving in. However, after having switched the fridge on and waiting for 24 hours, it was obvious...

Price.

Cube trays.

This is an updated review of the Hotpoint RFA52, the original was first published on Dooyoo on 29.11.13, Candyperfumegirl. I owned this Hotpoint (RFA52) fridge freezer for a good three years, however I have now replaced the appliance. The Hotpoint (RFA52) is a fairly basic fridge freezer, which...

Reliable, storage split

Not frost free, time to defrost

For 4 years my wife and I have owned our silver Hotpoint RFA52 Iced Diamond fridge freezer since we purchased it from Comet and apart from the odd surface dent from its many knocks during our house moves has changed very little in operation of appearance. In saying that very little has changed...

We recently sold our last LG Fridge Freezer as it was too big for our Kitchen and so had to buy something that would take up less room. I really didn't want to spend a lot on our new one especially in the run up to Christmas so I opted for a Hotpoint model for £279.99 which I think is very...

I've had my fridge freezer for about 3 months now and to date have been very happy with it. Within a few minutes of me plugging it in you could feel it getting cold. I was glad I chose this one. There are only three people in my house including myself and this fridge freezer is ideal. It has 4...

Fridge needs more beer space

I was looking for a certain type of fridge freezer. It had to be the correct height and width for a pre built storage area in my garage. This one fitted ( excuse the pun ) perfectly. I ordered this one from Co-Op electrical online on the 27th of December and it was deliverd on the 29th. I paid...

I have had this fridge freezer for seven months and haven't had any problems with it. The fridge capacity is enough for a family of four (2 teenagers!) and stays at a stable temperature. It is kept in a utility room which can get very cold, but I haven't noticed any changes in internal temp...

My old fridge freezer gave up on me last week , i needed an inexpensive replacement. Decided on this model due to low price and good reviews after googling internet. Also I'd already ruled out a frost free appliance working on the theory that the simpler the spec, the less there is to go wrong...
