    Advantages Advantages Lots of useful cycles and extras

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Clothes are very creased when they come out of the drier

    I live in a rented flat and after my last machine packed up it was replaced by the land lady with this one. It is a good reliable machine and is great for the five or so loads I do a week. Living in a flat without a garden I also use the tumble dry mode for trying sheets and towels. When things are tumble dried I do find that they come out very creased but I have also found this with other washer / driers so this is not a problem with only this machine and I suspect it is a problem with all washer / driers.     Advantages Advantages Fair easy to use.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Kept getting 'system' errors.

    I bought this washer/dryer as I finally moved in with my partner into our own place last october, the house is fairly small, so we bought a washer/dryer on the basis we could replace it later on but the clothes would still be dried. I wish I had never bought the thing. About 6 weeks after we bought it, it broke down for the first time, all the lights started flahing when it got to the dry cycle, I called hotpoint to get an engineer out and they said I could either have it repaired or replaced. If I had it repaired it might happen again as it looked like a system error of some sort. So I had it ... more

    What can I say??? After my previous problems with a Hoover I decided to buy a Hotpoint. Not happy with the wash. Shirts are a lot more creased. 34 days completely broke down lights flashing. Have to wait for 11 days for engineer call out ( they are busy ) Wish this had happened under 28 days I would have insisted on my money back

    I totally agree with the previous review - everything comes out extremely creased and they are so "ingrained" it makes them a nightmare to iron. Jumpers out of shape too. Worst purchase ever - sorry I ever bought it
