Initially the House of Fraser store card seemed like a good idea - I got 10% off my first purchase and I get 10% off on specified days. I know the interest rates on these store cards are extortionate so when I opened the account I asked for the full amount to be debited from me each month. After trying many times to confirm card and transfer of points could not understand or be understood by your operator. No customer service in our local store so in frustration cut up the card. I also got ripped off by the reward scheme. You need to spend £500 every Quarter to get any kind of reward, or the points simply gets removed. It's hard to believe why a reputable store would want to tarnish its own reputation with such a reward scheme. ...
