...is that you see just how simple great food can be and it makes you wince when you pay the huge prices at various restaurants (see the pan fried Tuna, a great, straight forward, but impressive way to cook it!). There are sections all the main sections of cooking, starters, sea food (main courses and starters, the scallop is really good, meat (roast belly pork being a very good recipe and the chicken with roast vegtables easy to put in the oven and ... ...baking (from breads to flapjacks). If there is some thing they should put in to this book, one of the Tips is that you should have a well stocked store cupboard but then no suggestion as to what should be in it! However having made many of the meals I have not had to rush out and buy any special equipment and even when the sort of cook things are needed simple alternatives are offered. ...
