Launched in 1996 by Hugo Boss, Element Aqua was a fragrance I never had any intention of buying and therefore I was a little disappointed when I opened a gift from my mother to find this instead of the Bvlagri aftershave she knows I love. I don't know about your other half, but mine has an obsession with aftershave and smelly things. He has to have new one every six onths or its some kind of tradgedy. So last summer I decided to use my hard earned boots advantage points and buy him a new one. I love my boyfriend to wear Hugo Boss aftershave, and I always used to think 'Boss' was the best one until I brought him 'elements aqua.' It isn't as potent as the other Hugo fragrences, nor do I find it as immediately identifiable (if someone is wearing Boss within ten metres of me, I know about it!) It's just really young and fresh, and fabulous smelling. It isn't at all musty. I think if I had to describe the smell in one word I would say that it smells 'clean.'
