I stumbled across this article quite by accident while searching for milk thistle on ciao, and felt compelled to write an opinion on the subject. Even before we had concieved I knew that I wanted to breastfeed my son. I was breastfed as a child and so was my younger sister, we are both healthy adults and I feel we have benefitted from it in the long run. Myself and my husband decided that we would like to try breastfeeding with our first child... and we are both glad that we did. Not only is breastfeeding inexpensive it is also a great way to bond with your child, there was nothing nicer than when I had to get up in the night to feed my daughter than having a cosy warm cuddle whilst feeding her rather than trudging to the kitchen to heat up a bottle and letting her wake up fully and scream the house ...
...your child everything that they need and you know that there are no additives! The only thing perhaps to remember is to avoid spicy foods (I had a particularly strong curry when my baby was quite small and she ended up with tummy ache and a smelly nappy for a few days!)
