Advantages: Good picture, quality sound, progressive scan & good inputs. Price. Disadvantages: Lot of heat coming out the top, remote not great usability.
Hi, new to these forums, but wanted to register to say thanks. I took the plunge this weekend and bought an E320D after doing exhaustive online research into 'cheap' LCD TVs, then reading a few things in this forum. I'm not in a HD area - still haven't even got Freeview coverage (West Yorkshire), so the SD thing was fairly important, though I mainly use the TV for watching films off DVD and computer. It was a tossup between an LG and this one. All ... ...this one won.
I've had a 28" JVC widescreen for the last six years (paid £600), and decided to treat myself to a decent Xmas present, it lasted me well, but when a friend got himself a new LCD screen I knew it was time to upgrade. I got the E320D for just under £400, and in my humble opinion it was the best buy for the price. 1200 contrast, 8 ms refresh and a proper PC input, so it could double as a monster screen.
