    Eamon...you either love his debut single or hate it. I am firmly in the latter camp, but my brother in law raves about the album, and as with so many albums that fall out of my preferred genre, I was forced to listen to the album many times on a fairly lengthy car journey recently, so if nothing else, it gave me the opportunity to experience the songs fully enough to review the album on here. Looking at the back of the CD cover filled me with dread seeing song titles like 'Get off my d**k' and 'I'd Rather F*** With You'.     Advantages Advantages Comedic, Good rhythym and quite soulful beat, Funny come-back by - FRANKEE - FURB or (F*** you right back), allows empathetic feelings (every1 goes through a similar thing)

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Very explicit lyrics with excessive use of the 'F' word, with a lot of references to sex, Feel as if he has a strange voice (-bit like a frog, whos testes havent dropped yet, but thats an opinion, You can make your own mind up)

    Initial Note I have only just recently been subjected to this single, and oh dear what an angry little man. Anybody who watches the Top of The Pop's, or anyone who follows the charts will have almost definately heard this song, but obviously the radio edit. If you really want to experience this song, which is good by the way, you really need to buy the single (or be naughty and download it off the internet via Kazaa, or Imesh but wont get in to that).I will give a big word of caution however, that the word F*** is used every 5 to 10 seconds, so if you have children that want to buy it, you ... more

    Eamon: I don't want you back. No doubt that this song has good rhythm and a pleasant beat... But is this really a song that you can listen to more than once? When this song first came out, certain people who had gone through similar situations, found comfort in this song. I mean, don't we all feel the same when we find out that somebody we really feel attracted to is cheating on us? I totally understand how he felt.     This new tune by Eamon has caused a stir recently with its meaningful yet sometimes obscene lyrics. it is a sweet ballad with a lot of pain released through it. it relates to anyone who has had a bad relationship or break up due to another persons actions, i'm sure we have all been there at some point regardless of whether this person was a lover or a friend. listening to this song i felt eamon did what many singers do which is to express themselves through their music, which makes f*** you (dont want you back) both personal and entertaining for the listener. however eamon may have some ... more

    Ok i am updating this review for everyone who is moaning!....... When i first heard this song i stopped to listen to it because i thought it was going to be a really sad and slushy song from the slow beat at the beginning and as i was feeling down at that moment i thought it would help me drown my sorrows! After hearing the first verse of the song it had changed my mood and by the time i heard the choras i was singing along and feeling angry for poor Eamon!     Well if you like eamon this is the cd for you, if not dont buy it listen to it first it is ok in the lyrics but to sing about your ex is abit nasty, and he should have known she would get him back twice as hard. It is a mix between rap and soul this one as he trys to hide what he is singing about frannkie in the lyrics but you can make out whats it is about, the first line says it all, "I dont know why i like you so much."     When I first heard this song I have to admit I thought it was a bit dodgy, but I can say that now I absolutly love it, its a real grower. But be warned it will stir up emotions if you have been through a bad experience with cheating and such, but it does make you feel kind of powerfull, like "I don't need you". If you don't mind a bit of swearing and love a bit of controversy then I would have to say go and get this one, its got a very eminem feel to it but with singing not rapping, with a wronged fit bloke you can't go to far wrong.
